Clear Kayak and Snorkel Adventure from Kihei

61 reviews
Get a new perspective on life under the sea with this adventure, which includes a clear kayak ride and a snorkeling trip. You'll head out to Makena Landing Park in Wailea, where you'll get to spot all sorts of local life, including coral and fish; if you're lucky, you might even see a sea turtle.

Though I live on the mainland I have had the opportunity to spend a few days at a time with the Kupa'a farm and farmers over the past few years, and cannot say enough positive things about the experience. Janet, Gerry, Judy, and their farm hands have built a beautiful farm that produces an incredible variety of organic fruits, vegetables, and coffee (I've seen Gerry pick a single coffee cherry out of a basket of freshly picked cherries because it wasn't perfectly ripe...not kidding) Their day to day practices are built on a meticulous attention to detail, solid stewardship of the land, a positive regard for mankind, and a consistent community involvement through their weekly CSA program and weekly collection of food waste from many island restaurants. The foods that come from their rich soil are delicious. Because I have a bit of a sweet tooth, my favorite food from their farm is their all natural Lilikoi jam, which lists "Love" as one of its 4 ingredients. If you can schedule a tour of the farm I would highly recommend it. Time spent there will be a unique and rewarding experience. If you are not able to book a tour, I recommend finding their table at a farmers market. The last time I checked, their current market schedule and location was posted on their web site.

Stop and get some ono organic produce. On Saturdays they are right by the Kula hardware store. Try some exotic vegetables that you have never heard of before! I got the most delicious papaya that was as big as a football!
