The Lavender wasn't in bloom and appeared to have been cut back pending the new growing season. There were other flowers blooming, but nothing that made it worth the drive. The staff is friendly and they have a nice seating area to take in the...More

We stopped in on the way back from Haleakala and enjoyed this a place. Adults are $3 each and kids 12 and under are free. It is very much up and downhill so be aware if you have limitations. The lavender smells awesome and the...More

More than just a lavender farm, these are exceptional gardens featuring magnificent Protea larger than a person's head, craft classes, places for contemplation, a small coffee shop serving Lavender scones and Lilikoi & Lavender jams. The staff are exceptionally helpful, and even the row of...More

This farm was beautiful but the tour was rushed and there was a weedeater going in the background that made it impossible to hear what the guide was trying to explain.

We did the guided tour around the grounds, very impressed with the knowledge that our tour guide had about all the different flowers and plants around the property. You can walk around the property on your own, but i would recommend going on the guided...More

Tour guide very knowledgeable. I made reservations on line so did not have to pay at gate. Make sure to try lavender scones. I would have loved to have been able to buy some dried lavender in the gift shop.

One of our favorite activities on our honeymoon! It was beautiful, fragrant, and very interesting! The one detail I didn't realize was how hard it can be to just walk there. High elevation, steep hills, and it's very chilly! Bring a sweater/sweatshirt along.

The journey up to this place is pretty fun. If you don't like narrow, steep roads then you probably might suffer a few minutes of anxiety however it is worth it. It's a lovely place to have a stroll around and take in the views....More

It's high up at 4000 ft but the view from the property is expansive. I discovered all the benefits of Lavender. It helps relax & calm you. It's a natural antiseptic. It repels mosquitos when rubbed on your skin. It heals cuts, scrapes and burns....More

I was SO excited to check out the lavender farm. I avidly read TripAdvisor and rely on reviews. Therefore, I was very disappointed that after driving over an hour (we were staying in Kaanapali), it was $3 per person to get in. Usually I wouldn't...More

Allow at least an hour but I agree with the other responder--this isn't worth a special trip. Makawao is a cute town to visit and the surfing goat dairy is anothe fun diversion if you head up country.
