My husband and I visited the Alii Lavender Farm in Kula. We did not take the guided tour, but a self-tour is very easy to do with the maps that are available. Walking around the lavender farm was such good exercise. The gift shop was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The website is also great to re-order more... More

We decided to drive to the summit and made a stop. Make sure you do too! The lavender farm is is an amazing place. Soaring views, beautiful smells and a fun little cafe with little lavender trinkets to buy. The price is cheap for a relaxing hour or two.

Needed to escape the heat at the beach so drove up to Kula and stopped here. $3 entrance fee, plenty of parking. Although they have many different types of lavender (not really in bloom when we were there), we really enjoyed seeing all the other varieties of tropical flowers and trees. Grassy trails take you through different types of plantings.... More

A very nice day trip from kaanapali. Very relaxing. You are up 4000 ft in the mountains and can see the west maui mountains and ocean. Wonderful little stop. Tour is very reasonable ($6) and Christian does a wonderful job telling about the 200 different varieties and picking some for you to smell and take home.

The place itself is neat...very serene. My daughter liked doing their scavenger hunt (way to make a lavender farm interesting for kids - smart!) The highlight for me was the view!! You can see the south beaches, the north beaches and the west maui mountains. We picked up a few souvenirs too.

A beautiful place to visit. As soon as I got out of my car the lavender smell was amazing. So many beautiful flowers of all types. Cute gift shop full of lavender treats as well as snacks made w lavender you can eat out on the patio with island and ocean views. Definitely worth a visit. Since you're up on... More

Looking for something else, 'different' we learned about the lavender farm. What a treat! Our daughter gets car sick, so the Road to Hana was out of the question. It is not large, so you can easily walk through the gardens in about 2 hours. The scenery is beautiful. It is a very calming place just to absorb nature. Yes,... More

I thought this would be a pretty place to check out one morning before our helicopter tour & it did not disappoint. The land is gorgeous with breathtaking views all around. Lots of beautiful flowers & gardens. Cute little shop that sells great lavender gifts as well as lavender lemonade & baked goods. Lots of great photo ops here too.

A very boring farm. Nothing to do except wander round. Best thing about place are the views. Unpleasant and unhelpful staff. Disappointing.
