Kai Kanani Sailing Charters is the only South Maui charter to offer daily...

Kai Kanani Sailing Charters is the only South Maui charter to offer daily departures from Makena/South Maui. From this location, it only takes 15 minutes to sail to Molokini Crater, which means less time on the open water and more time snorkeling. With two snorkel trips daily to both Molokini and Turtle Town, Whale Watching Tours (late December through April) and romantic Sunset Champagne Sail three days a week, Kai Kanani is sure to make your vacation very memorable.

Snorkel equipment, instruction, and select food/drinks are included in all snorkel tours. We have marine naturalists on-board, so you can learn more about all of the fascinating underwater life you see! We even have GoPro4 cameras available for rent on-board so you can capture all of the amazing memories you make.

Staying in Wailea? Kai Kanani offers free Mercedes shuttle service from select Wailea Resorts.

We had booked the Molokini Express snorkel trips months ago. On the day we were scheduled, Tropical Storm Darby was approaching. The trip went ahead as planned, but about halfway to Molokini the seas got rough and the captain turned back. We were treated to thirty minutes snorkeling with turtles in the calmer waters near Maui's south shore and a... More

Granted, milokini is way overused, and the bottom is pretty ugly. But if you have never snorkeled, or dove, this trip is a sure bet for lots of great fish. The boat gets a little crowded but not too bad. Friendly staff, lots of food and drink, and plenty of time in the water. Just don't touch anything unless the... More

Had a great time with my wife and three teenage daughters ob this boat. The crew was great and the captain would re-position the boat in order for all to have a good view of the amazing Maui sunset. Full bar and fresh food was nice. I like having an option in south Maui. If your staying at any of... More

Enjoyed the crew and the boat. We went for the sunset sail. I had no idea we would sail around Molokini Crater (maybe it depends on the winds that day) but it was a great surprise.

Highly recommend Kai Kanani for your Maui tours. Great service and overall experience. We did the Deluxe snorkel tour of Molokini and Turtle town and highly memorable. If looking for these tours in Maui, look no further.

Even when there are a lot of people it is not crowded. Perfect for snorkeling and just relaxing. You can jump off of the boat and see a lot of fish b

Such a good looking boat! We took the Molokini Express and found it was plenty of time. The boat is less crowded as not as many people want to wake up so early. We were the only boat in molokini the whole time. Staff were great in the water too, pointing out puffa fish and if you don't know what... More

Wife and I did the Molokini Express trip (2 hr quick trip in the early morning) and had a great experience. It begins quite early so be warned! We parked at the shop in Wailea and they drove us in a nice van to the site (picked up a few travelers along the route, all in all about 15-20 minute... More

We really enjoyed both a sunset cruise and a snorkeling trip with Kai Kanani. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks served were great. The boat was nice, roomy, and well-equipped. We appreciated the hotel pickup that we took advantage of.

This is a must if you come to Maui. The crew is so helpful and friendly that all you have to do is have fun. They provide everything, including meals and beverages, while allowing you just to enjoy the trip. The snorkeling is top notch. We are from South Florida and it is just as good as it is in... More
