We have been diving with Ed Robinson since 1995 - and always experienced the best service and great dives. Life took us away from diving for several years but we're now back and, of course, chose Ed Robinson. Robin is the best in setting up a "return to diving" steps. We started with Charlie who gave us our refresher dive at the beach - very, very thorough and patient. I mentioned issues I encountered in prior dives years ago and he cured all of them - all about technique. Highly recommend him for Refresher Dives. Then, next day we headed out with the Ed Robinson crew - Gaen, Dave, and Jose. All very safety conscious and worked hard to give us the best dive experience - considering the currents and weather. WE have more dives planned with them this trip, but wanted to take my few moments to share how excited we are to be diving with Ed Robinson again!!!

We enjoyed our experience diving with Ed Robinson and crew at the Molokini Crater. We had trouble with old regulators and leaky masks. These were changed out with quick efficiency. We were excited to see a couple of sharks, eels and a pretty bouquet of coral across the ocean floor. A memorable day scuba diving at the crater.

HR was a fair dive. Nice but not great. Back wall drift was very nice. Variety of fish. White tip sharks and octopus. Gayen was out DM. Very good. Pointed things out and air checks. He Communicated well with our small group. Would dive this site again with this company.

Overall poor experience. We booked in advance and when we arrived to the boat at 615am we were turned around because the woman we spoke to on the phone did not put us on the schedule. The definition of stupid is “knew better but did it anyway”. We should have gone with another company but did not. The next day was the worst dive experience! The crew were constantly staring at their phones above water. While in the water there was no guidance, or communication from the dive master. Not one air check! He simply swam in front of the group. I expect service from a dive company and this did not happen at all.

I had three great days of diving with Ed Robinson's in mid-July. Did drift dives and moored boat dives depending on the sites and the conditions. That worked out well. The fast boat leaving from the Kihei boat ramp was a definite plus. Very experienced boat captain and crew. Both boat captains were very professional but friendly. Dive briefing was very helpful, as I saw a lot of new critters I don't see in Florida, the Caribbean, or Cozumel. Dave and Charlie were great. Dave was good about pointing out things. Kim shared a lot of the biology with us. My family ran into Charlie at Coconut's (great fish tacos) the next night and he showed them video of the dives. Thanks Charlie. The naturalists on board were helpful. Backside of Molokini was outstanding, but the inner sites used for the second dives were great also. Especially liked the wreck of the St. Anthony and Red Hills. Turtles, octopi, eagle rays, lots of nudibranch, blue dragons, manta shrimp, lobsters. The Saint Anthony had 8 sharks and a well camouflaged toadfish. Saw a shark cleaning station on the back of Molokini. There was a mixture of experience with the divers on different days and I was impressed that all were treated well. I never felt uncomfortable. Good snacks between and after the dives. I would dive with them again.
