The live music was fabulous! The band played real rock and roll, mostly from the seventies. The dance floor is small, but that kinda made it more fun. The place was packed and the crowd was varied. I had a blast!

Located in the triangle which is good to bar hop, Kahale’s is a pretty cool dive bar. Service was excellent. From 8-11p they have live music.

This place is a must. Cheap drinks and live music. Friday nights it's packed. Dancing is encouraged. I've been coming here for years. They don't serve much food, but there are a number of restaurants in the same complex.

We have been to the Kihei village on several occasions over the past few years but never went in to Kahale’s as it was not inviting from the outside and usually had bikers hanging outside (not that this is a problem) This time we went in and were fortunate enough to strike up a conversation with a few of the regulars. By the end of the night, we were all friends, even some of the members of the local bike club. Later on in the night, there was live music with different bands and performers. I think it was closing time when we left with some the locals from the bar and we went to another club that was open later. Don’t be shy, go in and if you have a good attitude, the people will be friendly. Don’t expect fancy drink either, beer, shots and well drinks.

Stopped in this locals bar and quickly learned tourists were not really welcome. Got charged quite a bit for two beers while other local regulars got charged much less. If you are a tourist, give it a pass. There are half a dozen places within a couple hundred feet to get a drink where you are welcome and charged a fair price.

During happy hour which runs from 10 am to 5:30 pm our draft beer are 2.50 for domestic and 3.00 for imports. That price is the same for both residents and travelers. Any less and we wouldn’t stay in business, if your still around please feel free to stop by the bar and we can review your bill for accuracy. Aloha Sumner
