We booked via Hawaii Tee Times about 30 minutes before heading out. At less than half the price of many of the 'resort' courses and very close to our condo in South Kihei making it immediately attractive. It's a good course designed to challenge without being ridiculous. We were on and off again in 3 hours 20 minutes. Michellle (with... More

Great little course in Khei! The course was in great shape. The Staff is friendly, especially the starter. The food afterwords, was very yummy. Every time we go to Maui and stay in the Makena area we play this course. The price is right too! We never travel with our clubs and the club rental at this place is at... More

Played an early morning round with my wife and son in law. Condition of course was very good but the pace was the worst I have faced on any Course I have played. By the end of nine holes we were facing a 5 hour round. There seemed to be little monitoring of the pace of play. We gave up... More

Aloha Woodienz Thank you for your review. I apologize about your experience this past week. Our expectation for our guests is to play a 4 hour 15 minute round of golf. Your group made the turn at 2 hours 5 minutes and was on pace when I visited with you. We hope that you would come back to play our... More

It is a public course, but not one of the better ones out there. Although it is low-key as some other reviewers have said, there customer service is somewhat to be desired. Our "tee-time" was a freedom of choice, meaning we could tee-up whenever we felt like it, however we had to have our carts back within 2.5hrs. A couple... More

Aloha Ry Sometimes guests get our course Maui Nui confused with other similar named local golf courses when online. If it was our course, I apologize that your round was anything less than a 5 star experience. Please reach out to me directly and I would be glad to make it up to you. Twilight rate after 3 pm is $49/person for 18 holes. This includes the cart (they are all new with cooler with ice). Course takes 3 hours or less to play even if you are a beginner level like myself. Discount rates start at 2 pm. The wind really kicks up in the afternoon but the course is great and has... More

This course is easy to get to and relatively inexpensive for Maui. They have really good new carts and the greens are in great shape. This is a fun course to play even for beginners. After play, the restaurant is a also good and it is a great place to get a drink and relax.

We golfed a few spots while we am were out here and this was hands down our favorite spot. They had the best rates, the best carts with awesome gps, amazing course with awesome views, and it was never too busy!! It's cheaper if you book online so I recommend doing that, their twilight rate is only $30 for 18... More

We did not want to pay $$$ for a resort course, where pace of play is brutally slow, so gave Maui Nui a try and we are glad we did. Fun course made very tricky by constant winds. In decent shape and we had the place pretty much to ourselves. Rates for play and rental clubs were very reasonable.

My wife and I played this s course yesterday and thought it to be great value. The course is well taken care of with quick greens. The round took us 5 hours and 10 minutes due to there being very slow players on the course. The current rose does not utilize a Marshall to prod people to play faster. I... More

We searched for an economical golf course on Maui. It was still very pricey...especially when you don't have your own golf clubs. We ended up paying $316 US dollars. Which converted to $432 Canadian dollars. We paid green fees for 4, golf club rentals for 4 and rental of 2 golf carts. We also had to purchase tees and golf... More
