Thank you Maui Nui Golf Club! You made my husband so happy. He golfed here twice and practiced at the driving range 3 or 4 more times. He didn’t think he’d be able to afford playing golf on Maui. Your staff is the BEST! Everyone was so nice. Your course is lovely and well cared for. The snack cart lady was so sweet. The Ne Ne on the course were beautiful. I was so relieved when neither my husband nor son hit any with a golf ball. Thank you, Thank you!

The course is in great shape! I bought a Players Pass last October and it was a great deal for the money. I highly recommend playing this course. I also recommend if your're a serious golfer you should go early to avoid any sauntering foursomes that want to "get their moneys worth"! The staff is excellent! I especially like the starter that is a local and loves his rock'n roll music. His demeanor is fun and he knows how to make your experience memorable!

Maui Nui is a public golf course on the island of Maui. The course is in great shape. You can easily walk the course. The weather was amazing. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The fairways were average in width. The greens were a little slow. The course has a mix of short and long holes. You can rent your clubs at the course, however we rented our clubs somewhere else. The restaurant has a nice variety of food. They have a nice driving range.

The good - course layout was fair, with wide fairways; fairways and greens in relatively good shape, especially considering the traffic on the course; friendly cart lady roaming the course; nice bar area with live music for Happy Hour. The not-so-good - no bathrooms on the entire course, just a lone port-a-potty on the back 9. The inexcusable - SLOWEST course ever !!! No Marshalls to hurry up the many slowpokes. Literally had to wait several minutes to hit every single shot. Really ruined what could have/ should have been a nice day of golfing. There was a sign at the cart return saying “See You Tomorrow !”. A nice sentiment, but not a chance in hell of that happening, unless / until they get a Marshall or three out there to speed things up !!!

Aloha, Sorry to hear that your round was as slow as you described, but we do have marshals on duty every day of the week. We try our best to keep the pace to just over 4 hours in high season, but with a large range of skill we see from golfer to golfer, it can be challenging at times to keep everyone on a similar time schedule. As for the restrooms, we one (men's and women's) that is connected to the maintenance building that are next to the tees on #3 and you pass the same ones on #7, you must have just missed the sign. We would love for you to give us another chance to show you how great a round of golf at Maui Nui really can be. Feel free to call Joe in the pro shop to discuss ways we can rectify this situation. Mahalo, Maui Nui Staff

the fairways are good, the greens are average, the pace of play is poor. they let anyone on the course. the group in front of me could not hit the ball 20 yds the whole game . marshal apologized many times as we were three groups waiting on several holes. I'm patient because I'm on Maui but the rental clubs belongs in the dump

Aloha Allen, I wanted to follow up with you on your review of your experience. We have M2 and M6 rental clubs, so I am not too sure what the issue was with your set, if you please explain further I would appreciate it. As for the pace of play, we do our very best to keep groups moving along, especially those groups that don't have much golf experience. We can't tell someone they can't play our course just because of their skill level. We pride ourselves on being the "fun and friendly golf club" on island so we try to make everyone's day special, regardless of golfing ability. Some days are harder than others to keep pace moving but that's why we have the marshals to assist. Our average round time is just a little over 4 hours during high season but like I said, it can get a little longer on some days. We hope to see you out here again so you can get the true Maui Nui Experience! Mahalo, Maui Nui Staff
