We had read nothing but good reviews about this tour and needless to say we were very excited about it. We woke up early and drove an hour to get to the pier to meet the boat. We waited about 15 minutes and didn't see the boat or any other tour members, so I decided to call the office. Much... More

I will start by saying there are cheaper tours, but you will get what you pay for! This is a small (18 person max) family operated tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the captain, his daughter and niece. Great personalities, and good knowledge of the area and marine life. We saw whales on the way out and they took the time to... More

This is a sweet family business with a very personal touch. Trish accommodated us with very little notice on a snorkeling tour to Molokini crater. They supplied all the necessary supplies and fed us yummy pineapple and muffins in the morning and then great sandwiches on the way in. Doug would point out different areas of interest and would stop... More

What a great trip! Family owned. We visited 4 different spots and the captain even gave us a lot of time to enjoy the whales we happened upon. Can't wait to come back!

We had such an amazing time. We went to the crater and the water was crystal clear! We got there early enough to miss the huge rush of people at the crater. This boat only takes 14 or so people, so you get a real personalized experience. It was so nice to not be herded into the ocean like many... More

We had the best time with Tricia, Bailey and Doug! It was really a highlight of our honeymoon in January 2017. They were super sweet, fun and passionate about Maui and whales(we saw so many whales and dolphins!) and we loved meeting them. On the boat ride out one of the children on our trip had a little issue and... More

Our tour with Maui Snorkel was great! We couldn't have been happier with Trish, Doug and Bailey. They rock! We had the best time and visited 5 different spots to snorkel. Listening and watching turtles and whales cavort and play in the water was an experience we'll never forget. Trish is sweet and very down to earth, Doug is the... More

This charter is easy to access if you are staying in Kihei as it takes off from the boat ramp in Kihei just south of Kamaole Beach 3. It leaves in early in the morning and returns around noon or in our case it was closer to 1pm as we were treated to some great whale sightings. Captain Doug and... More

We were fortunate to have our third trip out with Maui Snorkel Charters this Feb. It was an amazing experience. Their new boat is even better configured for an optimal experience. We like the intimate group on only 18 snorkerlers and a boat that can access unusual and phenomenal locations. We snorkel from shore too, but the trip out with... More
