We are conveniently located at 1794 S. Kihei Rd inside Aloha Open Air Market. We have a brand new fleet of scooters for you to choose from. We are Maui's exclusive Pit Bull Moped Rental. Our goal is your fun! Come enjoy a shave ice and snack while you browse the shops at the Aloha Open Market of local hand made art, aloha wear, souvenirs and more. Perfectly located in beautiful Kihei, Maui. We look forward to meeting you.

Our experience renting from Carl at the Maui Scooter Shack and riding their motorcycles was a highlight of our trip! My two cousins and I were on the fence about renting motorcycles but we decided to walk into the shop to see what our options were. We met Carl who was so friendly and helpful and made the renting process so informative and fluid. We told him we were interested in riding to Lahaina to rent surfboards and within 20 seconds, Carl had pulled out a map to show us directions, where to park, where to rent surfboards, and pulled up Surfline live webcam videos of the surf at Lahaina. Carl was on it! We got excited at that point and we picked three Benneli 302s in three different colors-white, black, and lime green. We felt like the Power Rangers on the way to Lahaina! Carl also told us that we could continue our ride up north for insane views of Maui and we were so glad we did. We ended up circumnavigating the whole west side mountains and made several stops. We were thankful for Carl’s recommendations as it was a ride of a lifetime and we had a blast!! Thank you Carl and Maui Scooter Shack for a smooth and enjoyable experience!

We had the best day!!! Big thanks to Bashar who helped us out. He cleaned all the scooters and gave us a lesson before we went out. He went above and beyond by giving us the most amazing recommendation for where to ride-- the scenery on the route he advised ended up being the highlight of our whole Maui trip. Couldn't recommend this service more!

We had an amazing experience renting 7 scooters from Carl. He was so helpful and catered to our daughter who had never been on a scooter before. We all said it was one of our favorite days out of 10 during our vacation in Maui. Can't wait for next time! We will be back. Thanks, Carl

Hands down the best place for scooter rentals! 10/10 would recommend. Carl was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable before heading out for the day. He gave me the best tips of where to stop, how to navigate certain turns/highways, what to do if I got caught up in a rain storm, etc. I can't wait to go back!

Our family had such a wonderful time when we rented the scooters. It was our first time and now it is on the list of must do’s when we come back. We set up our reservation and Carl dialed us in. He was so wonderful making sure everyone was ready to have a great experience, different riding levels and all while be safe and prepared to lock bikes up etc. Highly recommend.

The best staff, bikes, and price. 16 yr old never rode before and handled the pit bull mini with ease. Prices were fair and cheapest around. Take a ride to the lava fields, awesome experience.

3rd time I’ve rented one of the Benelli 500’s and ridden around Maui. You really don’t need a bigger bike - these are great.
Always fun dealing with these guys - even if they do think I sound like Jeremy Clarkson!! Hopefully I don’t look like him!! 😀

Maui Scooter Shack is number one!! Ask for Carl, he’s the best and makes the process breezey! Price is right too! I had tons of fun ripping around Maui with my teenaged son!

My wife and I are experienced Can Am Spider owners. We attempted to rent the blue Spider they advertise. Jason assisted us. The bike was not ridable. The shifting of the gears was very agressive and made manuvering and cruising very difficult. The exhaust has no heat sheild and nearly melted the bottom of my wifes shoe in just twenty minutes on the road. We brought it right back, .... Jason then admitted he wouldn't drive it either, WOW! (Jason is not the owner ... seems to be a knowledgeble employee). They stuck me for a days rental after calling Sara (Owners rep)privately on the phone. They said that they felt the bike was operating satisfactorily. I have owned two Can Am Spiders .... I strongly dissagree. This bike would never support a trip around Maui. We went down the street and rented a convertable for half the price. STAY AWAY!!!!

My Mom, Dad, boyfriend and I rented scooters for the day! Two of us did the traditional scooters, and the other two did the pitbulls. We all loved what we got! Alan was very friendly and helpful and made it a smooth experience. It was a different experience and a highlight of our trip zipping around on scooters for the day!

Is there long term rental discounts? I will be in Paia for 5 weeks and would like one the entire time.

I think the island is very seasonally "sensitive". If you are not there during peak periods (Christmas, Spring Break,...) then I think the attractiveness of a block booking at a lower price becomes more attractive.

Don't need international license and yes there are scooter that hold two people but you'd need a motorbike license to rent those

I dont recall the actual rental rates but I do remember being surpirsed it wasnt more. 2 of my family members rented. All I can say is go there and talk to Chris. He brought in more rentals since we were there. You wont regret meeting them. They will suggest places to go to see some great sites. These people love Maui.
