Nice but not what I would expect a " swap meet" to be

Basically there are many vendors, some are the same ones we saw the night before at the 4 th Friday festival in Kihie. Still it is bigger and better than most markets I have seen on Maui. Prices seem average but sometimes I wonder about unmarked items. ( Do they decide what the price is based on who they assume... More

Second time there in 2 years. Can get crowded in summer season, and hot, but plenty of shave ice places and other food venues available. Best to walk through it first then go back to get. But risk is if you find something you want in limited supply. Entrance only $.50 per person and plentiful free parking.

We arrived at 10:15ish. Beautiful jewelry, paintings, cards, t shirts, purses, but because September is a slower month for tourism for Maui (I'm assuming), some vendors started packing at noon. Go early to see everything and enjoy the morning. Loved it!!

Wonderful view of Hawaii; sights, aromas and sounds of so much of Hawaiiana. Take a browse for easily a couple of hours for a half a buck... best deal on Maui !

Go early as it does get hot in the late mornings. Great place to look for a deal. We have found some get stuff for a great price. fun to see all the stuff at a cheaper price than the stores. Only .50 cents to get in

So worth getting up early for this! We had to drive about 40 min. from where we were staying but it was so much fun! Free parking, and 50 cents to get in. Go early because it gets extremely hot and busy - we were there by 8 and left about 10. It rained for about 10 min., but didn't... More

I loved the swap meet! I really enjoy shopping at markets on vacation. I had a hard time finding nice ones while visiting Hawaii but this one blew me away! There was tons of cool stuff (mostly souvenirs )! I thought the prices were pretty fair compared to what I saw at the local shops! It took me about an... More

We really enjoyed our selves at the Maui Swap Meet. Lots of items to choose from... food, souvenirs, candles, flowers, fruit, etc. at great prices and friendly staff.

The swap meet is always getting better. There are plenty of yummy places to eat, & it's a good spot to grab local produce, & find unique souvenirs. It's not necessarily the cheapest place to shop but it definitely has the best selection.
