Feb 7/2017 We took a "Mahalo Road to Hana" tour, which started at 7 and ended at 7pm. Whew! A long day, but it was great! Thank god we had a Hawaiian driving (Nathan), and he was kind, funny, a great driver and tour guide, and knew the roads, because they were pretty hairy! And I'm a nervous Nelly, and... More

Nathan was our tour guide & we are so lucky to have been with him on the Road to Hana & Backcountry Tour in January this year. We were with 3 other couples & had such a fun day, the van was comfortable & spacious. The scenery is so spectacular & changes constantly with just about every terrain & landscape... More

This tour company is fantastic and our guide, Charlie (Kavai, I'm not sure how to spell his actual Hawaiian name:) but he said call him Charlie) was wonderful! We truly enjoyed spending the day with him, he made us feel like family. He was so knowledgeable about the island and he actually genuinely CARED to give us a great tour... More

This was an all day tour starting from our hotel at 7.00am and returning at 7.30pm (6 others were collected from different hotels) but we came back feeling exhilarated. The tour guide Charlie was amazing- he was so well informed, he had a great sense of humour, and he was an all round sensational person. We had delicious snacks through... More

One of the tours we booked was the Road to Hana. We were in an air conditioned van with 3 other couples and 1 single adult. Nathan was our driver and he was EXCELLENT! We all loved him! Good sense of humor and very knowledgeable about Maui as he has lived on the island his entire life. Even went to... More

This could have been an awesome experience and because of our self absorbed driver it ended up being very average. We had a local man, 25 years old, who, to hear him tell it there is nothing he cannot do or has not done. He had a fabulous grasp of the culture but the entire trip was about him and... More

Our driver/tour guide, Rich, made our Road to Hana trip such a memorable, and safe experience. He arrived on time, with a smile, and gave us so much information all along the trip. Even though it was misting and a little chilly that morning, we had a great time. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to do this tour.... More

Keoki was an amazing guide - hilarious, knowledgeable and passionate about his culture and the area of Maui and Hana. Keoki was safe and maneuvered the road like a pro safely and quickly. Once we arrived in Hana we didn't want to leave. Lunch was amazing we had the ribs and fish option. Such a beautiful area. True Aloha hospitality.... More

Prior to booking our Hana tour I did extensive research to find the best company for this tour and we were not disappointed! Makana was our tour guide you could tell he really loved his job and was so incredibly knowledgeable and treated us like family. We truly did make the most amount of stops and every stop was amazing... More

You can't spend 12 hours with Makana on a Mahalo Hana tour without writing a review, so here goes, it was simply Awesome, entertaining, breathtakingly beautiful, educational and nourishing for the body and soul. I researched ahead of time, every tour company, because I knew this was going to be the hilight of our trip. I am here to tell... More
