Amazing helicopter ride and awesome staff! I was blown away by the scenery-waterfalls, ancient fishing pools, untouched valleys and humpback whales!! Our pilot,Niels, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and his flying was simply incredible. If you travel to Maui, you definitely need to take a tour with Sunshine!!

My favorite experience in my recent visit to Maui was going up with Sunshine Helicopters! First, they gave us the best bid. Second, when we could not continue a flight after viewing the crater, they offered a full refund or another flight. We took another flight, which became longer than the 45 minutes promised. Third, that flight was my best helicopter experience ever: we saw whales, ancient fishing pools at the Molokai reef shelf, the site of Father Damien’s leper colony from a distance, magnificent waterfalls, verdant cliffs jabbing from a thousand feet into the sea, and settlements on Molokai and Maui. I’ll never forget it!

A bucket list of 100 things to MUST do!! Highly recommend. Very convenient pick up from cruise and driven back to location. Very reasonable great value up in the air for 50 minutes! Pilot was professional, generous with time and commentary. Everyone wears headset and can communicate. You must get weighed but they are discrete with scales for those shy. Highly recommend view is stunning !!!

We booked a ride for four of us on vacation. The entire family loved it, and it was our 6 year old's favorite activity from the week. The location is convenient, and there's parking available right in front of the building. All of the helicopter companies are located at the same heliport. The staff inside was really nice, and our pilot (Pete) educated us on the various things we were flying over as well as the island in general. He also made an effort to turn the helicopter on both sides where there were the most interesting landmarks, so everyone could see them and take pics. We saw one waterfall that is only viewable by the sky due to being in an undeveloped and protected area of the island. Overall process was very organized...safety briefing, lining up in order of seating outside, and then boarding. Side note - if you have trouble with your inner ear when flying in planes, be aware that you may experience similar here...you're going up to 10,000 ft in a fairly short amount of time. It's a pricey activity considering it's slightly less than an hour, but was totally worth it. Don't leave the island without taking a helicopter tour...you'll miss out! The folks at Sunshine made sure it was memorable.
