I live on Maui and have used Hike Maui for over 10 years. The guides are so informative of the land, tell great Hawaiian history stories and keep the fun interesting for all ages. I've taken my 2 1/2 year old son on the twin falls hike. My father in his 70's enjoyed the hikes as well. They provide sunscreen... More

We agree with the accolades so I won't repeat them here. Our guide, Tony, did a great job of making the walk interesting and informative. The best reason to use Hike Maui: The waterfalls are definitely not a "we can find it ourselves" attraction. There were many cars parked on the shoulder of the highway and we encountered people wandering... More

Roger was our guide for this informative, fun and truly memorable experience. He was knowledgable, personable and very helpful throughout the day. We are a family of five ranging in age from 9 years old to 50 years old. The hike was challenging at certain points, but definitely attainable for all of us, including my 9 year old. In fact,... First of all, our tour guide Nick was great! Unfortunately Maui had had a fair amount of rain prior to our hike and the trail was extremely muddy. This was not mentioned to us when they called us to confirm our hike the day before- so I didn't plan accordingly to bring extra shoes to change in to after the... More

The hike to the waterfalls was enjoyable, just had to make sure of your steps when near wet rocks and mud. Waterfalls and their pools were picturesque. Dan kept the whole group safe, and provided lots of very good information about Maui, and the flora and fauna along the trail.

Excellent tour near hana. Dan bocher was our guide. He was full of information and made the 6hr tour (5mile) hike very exciting, and fun. Make sure to wear good walking shoes such as keen. You will get muddy especially if it rains which it did on our day . The water was high that we had to cross but... More

Our group of 10 people in one family ages 9-72 were honored to have Kate Chilsom as our guide. She picked us up at our hotel and kept us excited from the beginning of our trip in the van, taking us into the rain forest, and to the river and falls. She was a great naturalist and teacher sharing all... More

We did a zip line/hiking combo which included a short hike with some waterfalls & lots of beautiful vegetation & sights. Our guide Kahei (not sure about the spelling) was terrific. He was so knowledgeable & kind & by the end of the day we felt like we had really made a friend. He pointed out all of the fruits,... More

We did the Hana Full-Day Waterfalls & Rainforest Hike. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life!! Tony, our guide, was amazing! When we hiked the two mile hike up to Waimoka Falls he was able to identify every species of plant we saw (and there were a million different species). When we got up to the falls,... More
