My husband and I used Hike Maui 19 years ago when we visited the island to get married. The trip was amazing and our guide, Marko, make the hike such a fun and educational experience. As we were planning a trip back this year w/ our two teenage daughters the first thing on our "must do list" was a hike.... More

We took the easy water fall hike which was about a mile. The guide (Eddie) was awesome and the skill level was spot on. My wife recently had knee surgery so this was a great hike for us. The terrain was wet from heavy rainfall so we had to be a little careful. The waterfalls were very beautiful and the... More

On this family vacation, this time around decided to experience a hiking tour and chose trenching through East Maui's rainforest/waterfalls. Our guide, Shestin, was very good and Eco-knowledgeable and excellent on keeping the group aware of the surroundings and warnings during the whole 5 hour tour. Learned much, much more of the local Eco-system and the importance of the preservation... More

My daughter and I did the East Maui Waterfall and Rain Forest Hike. It was an adventure, climbing, cutting thru the bush, hanging on a rope, walking along ledges, thru streams and muddy creeks, cliff jumping and swimming in the waterfall pools. It can be quite slippery at times, proper hiking sandals that can get wet and muddy are a... More

We took the tour with Hike Maui as a part of the excursions from the Pride of America cruise. Our guide Gale was really nice. You get to see tropical plants, rivers and swim below waterfalls. Lunch is included and you can pay $2 for water shoes that you will really need for the mud. It is a rainforest and... More

We took the "short waterfall hike," which was plenty long for our crew (parents plus kids aged 7, 10, 13). Swam in one waterfall, saw another, jumped into another. Hiked through streams and mud. FUN!!!! A highlight of the trip! 3.5 hours. Great guide ("Marco") who told us a lot about Hawaiian history and plants etc. You get muddy! (For... More

We loved our hike with Hike Maui. Our guide Bocher did an outstanding job. We learned about all the plants around us,were given the opportunity to eat some of the edible plants along the way, we jumped off/near waterfalls and hiked some muddy yet fun trails and learned a bit about Hawaiin history. Snacks prior to the hike, lunch and... More

I have been to Maui 5 times with my family and we have done all sorts of activities and this ranked number 1. Our guide George was unbelievable and the knowledge he shared and the fun we had at the waterfalls was second to none. We saw at least 7 waterfalls and was able to jump off all of them.... More

Loved the waterfalls and rain forest hike. I am in my late seventies and had no trouble jumping into the water fall and navigating the forest. This was one of the best highlights of my Hawaiian trip. Do not miss this one.

I live on Maui and have used Hike Maui for over 10 years. The guides are so informative of the land, tell great Hawaiian history stories and keep the fun interesting for all ages. I've taken my 2 1/2 year old son on the twin falls hike. My father in his 70's enjoyed the hikes as well. They provide sunscreen... More
