We did the East Maui Waterfalls and Rainforest Hike with Kahi. I can't imagine a better guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, and enthusiastic. We learned about the plants and fruits and ate some of them. At the next to last waterfall, Kahi jumped in to the water (from about 10 feet up), then convinced us to do it as well.... More

My wife and I had a great time on a wonderful trip with Hike Maui. We took the East Maui Waterfall and Rain Forest hike and it could not have been better. The hiking was "moderate" or relatively easy -- there are some short rock scrambles and some river walks but not a lot of elevation to deal with. The... More

Thank you to Shestin for a gread day and providing awesome information regarding the vegetation and all about Maui. My husband and I were picked up at 6 am and they took us to the meeting spot where we met our guide Shestin as well as the other 3 participants. We hiked Haleakala National Park which I recommend for you... More

Took the Waterfall and Rainforest Hike as a shore excursion from the Pride of America. Tony, our guide, picked us up at the pier and instantly made us all feel like friends. His knowledge of Maui's flora is inexhaustible and his enthusiasm was infectious. The hike was beautiful but a little tricky due to heavy rains and mud. Tony made... More

We had bad weather the day of our hike. It was raining hard for most of the hike. The rivers swelled but Tony got us through everything safely and we had a great time. Tony was so knowledgeable about all the plants and history of the islands it made it so interesting. I didn't know how interesting a rainforest could... More

I went on two different hiking tours with Hike Maui and both were excellent. The guides I had were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they always made sure everyone in the group felt included. The sights we saw and places we went to were beautiful, and every stop we made was amazingly worthwhile. I would highly recommend Hike Maui to... More

We went on this hike with my husband on our very last day in Maui. Originally we were planning on taking the 6 hour hike the day before, but unfortunately my husband got sick and we were sad because we couldn't make it. Thanks to the superior customer service though, we were later offered another option for the shorter 3... More

I took my 21 year old sons on this hike during the Holidays. Our guide, Aaron made this extra special in addition to the great Canadian family in our group. All of us were hikers and adventurous. Aaron excitedly showed us exactly what we were hoping to find . . . jumping into rapids, swimming under waterfalls, laughing and learning... More

We went on this excursion from our NCL cruise ship at the end of December and we were very lucky to have Gail as our guide. Safety was a priority and I would definitely take the recommendation of renting their special shoes for $2. You can wear your own hiking shoes but due to the mud (and there was a... More
