This is a good place to get out and stretch your legs while getting a smoothie. It’s not truly half way to Hana and the port-o- potty’s were disgusting when we were there (this remained true all along the road to Hana) but the people...More

Cash only (ATM on site). The kids enjoyed their shaved ice and banana bread. Not sure it is "the best", but the banana bread was fresh and tasted great. Tour vans have reserved spaces; parking for others is sparse.

This is about half way to the city of Hana. This would be a great place to stop, rest, stretch, use the restrooms (port a potties), and grab a snack. They sell their famous banana bread which is amazing, delicious and moist. They also sell...More

Near mile marker #17 on Hana Road. You cannot miss this little stand where you can get all kind of snacks. This place is known for its outstanding banana bread (6$ cash). We tried it and it was indeed very good, but not extraordinary. If...More

Must buy Aunt Sandy’s banana nut bread!! The bread we had just came out of the oven and was still warm. We ate it with macadamia nut ice-cream for an a la mode twist. This place is a nice stop on the drive to Hana....More

I concur with the answer above. I will also for warn you that unless you are into hot dogs bring your own picnic lunch. There are several excellent restaurants in Paia to get lunch to go!
