This is a great place to stop on the Road to Hana for a drink, a bathroom, some food--especially banana bread! The girls working here are friendly, and if you get motion sick, they have a ginger drink that can help with that!

We had to stop just to slow down a bit and make sure we took the whole experience in. The banana bread was moist and tasted great. Worth the stop to add this to your list of we just had to.

In the midst of fighting the twists and hair-pin turns (600+) and one-way bridges (55+)of the Hana Highway on Maui, HALFWAY TO HANA food truck was a (WOW) welcome stop. Snacks and drinks and cakes and stuff and priced fair. SOOOO glad they where there.

I concur with the answer above. I will also for warn you that unless you are into hot dogs bring your own picnic lunch. There are several excellent restaurants in Paia to get lunch to go!
