They are currently only offering tours on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00. We were lucky to be the only visitors and were treated to a fantastic tour by the owner Sylvan. This sanctuary is a Second Chance for many species of injured or abandoned animals. The owner Sylvan is a true animal lover and explained the different life stories of the different animals. I didn't get to visit the zoo in person, but on our road to Hana trip we rescued a baby goat. The Boo Boo Zoo stayed open past their time to wait for our guide to bring in the baby goat. Above and beyond, way to go Boo Boo Zoo. I've heard that they are the best for taking in... More

We finally made it to the Boo Boo Zoo a rehabilitation sanctuary for injured and orphaned animals who would otherwise die. When we arrived we were greeted by a cat, a peacock, ducks, roosters and chickens, they all came out of the jungle and were so happy to see us! It was very cool, they were looking for some lovin!...
