The Koke'e mountains are stunning. There are lots of great places to take in the view, with Kalaulau being the most stunning in my opinion. There are some hiking trails, but they are not recommended for novice hikers. There are many instances where you might have to jump across a gap, or tread on some slippery terrain. The trails are... The trails and views surrounding the Koke'e mountains are nothing but stunning. With the views of Waimea Canyon nearby and hikes and drives that lead to views of the Napali coast, this is unparalleled. Don't miss a drive up into the Koke'e mountains. Simply amazing!

Go to the end of the road on Highway 550 and you will get some spectacular views of these mountains. They are unlike anything I've seen anywhere else. Imposing, steep and lush.

This look out is at the very end of the canyon. It was incredibly gorgeous, with the ocean and mountains, and we were lucky enough to see a rainbow! Amazing look out!

You do not need to sign up for a tour to go to this overlook at the end of Koke'e Rd. After you view Waimea Canyon (from the Waimea Canyon Rd., not Koke'e Rd., continue on to the end of the road to see stunning views of the ocean and the backside of the Napali Coast. Once again, the parking... More

from the land, sea or air. They are a majestic beauty that forms the Napali Coast. Fantastic views are afforded by tour boat, plane or helicopter tour, via road or hiking. This is A MUST SEE when on the island of Kaua'i.

We had the good fortune to see and photograph these beautiful mountains from a doors-off helicopter and from the lookout. They are world-class spectacular. I was lucky while at the Kalalua lookout to get several pictures of the mountains and valley with a huge rainbow spanning the entire valley. Priceless.

The Koke'e mountains are the mountains that make up the Napali coast and where the Waimea canyon wanders through. There are numerous hiking trails and lookouts to enjoy the scenery.

The views of the Kalalau Valley were beautiful. There are two overlooks (Kalalau and Pu'u O Kila) to see the valley. Go to both to get different angles of the valley and ocean below.
