I have hiked the Na Pali Coast Trail, taken a helicopter tour and a boat tour but the view from here was even more moving than all of those. The views of the valley are incredible. Loved Waimea Canyon but I believe that the view here is even more moving for me. Must see both Waimea Canyon and the Koke'e... More

Spectacular views of the Kalahau Valley from above. Go to the end of the road on route 550. You will find Pu'uokila Lookout. There is limited parking but it turns over quickly. Route 550 is must do drive-about.

What can I say...the view doesn't get any better than this. If I lived here I'd never get any work done. This view is from the top of the canyon drive. Mile marker 18 & 19 have phenomenal lookouts for this Valley...I love it here.

You will need to drive all the way to the end of route 550 in Waimea Canyon (18 miles of cross back mountain road from the base) to get to this scenic overlook. However, once you get there, it's worth the time (and the drive offers up some of the most spectacular views in the world - both heading up... More

I have walked into these revines. I have observed the cliffs, beaches and archs from the sea. I have walked the trails from both ends. Every view is magical.
