Hapuna beach is a wonderful beach, crystal clear water and excellent facilities. there is a small charge to enter the beach park $5 well worth it as it immaculate. There are lovely grassed lawn areas, shady trees, miles of beautiful sandy beach and calm crystal clear water. Clean rest rooms, showers and change facilities. The walk to the beach from... More

I love this beach on the Big Island. It is a very long stretch of paradise not to be missed! The sand is abundant and the ocean waves perfect for a boogie board. (Rentals on site) Bring a lot of ocean friendly sunscreen, since time will fly when you are having so much fun playing in the water. Great to... More

We went around 330 pm. Gorgeous white wide sand. Gradual sandy area a long way out. Terrific waves. Lots of lovely people having a great time. Good beach for kids. Nice rinse showers. And someone getting married. Perfect way to end a perfect vacation.

Like many other beaches on the Big Island, this one is beautiful. What we particularly like about this one is the easy parking (there is a fee) + the sand is very nice and the beach is very long. Careful about the waves breaking a bit close to shore during certain times of the year.

We arrived there around 9am on a Saturday hence it was not complicated to find a parking spot; however, when we left around noon, it was completely crowded. The beach is great for relaxing, walking, running, swimming, etc, a complete hit with both locals and tourists!

White sand beach about 15 minutes away from Waikoloa Village. Large beautiful beach with great waves. Life guard stations are there and also a place to buy food and rent beach gear. It costs 5 dollars to park. We were there for hours. Not congested at all. Had a wonderful time. The waves were a little to big for our... More

This beach was amazing. The sand was soft, the water was clear and the swimming was great. There was a small shop for beach accessories and snacks and public bathrooms available. It got pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon, but still plenty of room to lay out and enjoy a peaceful afternoon.

This beach was recommended to us by someone at Hilton Grand vacations and it was an absolute hit. It is a beautiful sand beach with lots of room, fantastic surf, a great sandy bottom, many amenities and rugged surroundings. We stayed until sunset and it was beautiful. The swimming was great and the entire day was so relaxing. There are... More

This is a beautiful white sandy beach for a mile. The waves were great for boogie boarding. There is a place to rent boards, umbrellas and beach chairs ($10 each item) but we found the price cheaper at snorkel bobs at Mauna Lani where we were staying. We did many activities on the big island and my teens ranked the... More
