Don't drive out of your way to get here, but if you're nearby anyway, go ahead and stop quick. Kind of anti-climactic. But it's still near pretty black rocks along the coast, and we did see a turtle swimming near the rocks.
If the swells off the ocean are large, then this is a beautiful attraction, however on calm days the spouting horn is just kind of nice to see. The vendors are nice and they sell reasonably priced souvenirs. It's worth stopping by, and depending on...More
Absolutely amazing. Nature at its finest. There is no way to describe this wonderful place where you can stand as long as you want and listen to the horn and hear the ocean in the background. Makes you appreciate life and what nature can do!
I love this sight not only for the spectacle of the surf shooting through lava tunnels to create geyser like shows but also for the coastal views and intermittent spotting of sea turtles in the waves. Be prepared for some chicken action. 😂
