Beautiful place!

The views are incredibly beautiful, the ocean and the rainbows which are often there makes this place magic...

I spent about 2 hours leisurely walking this trail that starts at the Hyatt and runs along the coast, along the golf course, down onto beaches and around many a bend. You can't stop walking as you always want to see what's around the next bend. I can't recommend this hike enough. It was truly special.

How often do you get to walk along the cliffs above the sea? This hike is incredible. You can walk as little or as much as you want. We began at the Sheraton and walked until we reached the golf course. It is a very sunny walk so that was far enough for us. Go early in the morning and... More

Nice trail along the coast. Starts at the Grand Hyatt right off at the end of Shipwreck beach. Trail is poorly marked with multiple paths, but as long as you stay with the coast you should be fine. The first part of the trail has you walking through sand and the second half has you walking through some rocky/gravel areas,... More

Not all bedrock in Hawaii is volcanic. These sandstone cliffs bring unique beauty to Hawaii. The pounding surf was mesmerizing. We walked about a mile or so east from Shipwreck's Beach.

A lovely walk along the coast, with great scenery. We walked down from the Sheraton to start this walk, which was about two miles, but you can drive down and park. The walk starts by the Grand Hyatt but is not signposted, so is a little hard to find and we weren't sure where to enter. You can start by... More

Just did this hike a few days ago. Wanted to do a simple to intermediate hike with family (wife, mother in law and 2 young kids). This is a prefect hike for beginners-intermediate. The views were just amazing.

This was such a beautiful walk! Parked outside the Hyatt and got a map from concierge desk which was nice because it had historical narratives about spots along the way. Walk starts at ship wreak beach which meant we had to walk through the Hyatt resort and walk to left. Good way to fill up on cold water (by pool... More

We loved this hike, we got up early and made it to the waterfall before anyone else so we got a little time with it to ourselves.

We have done a few hikes in Kauai and this is a must do. You are rewarded from the beginning - not a hike that you have to work hard to enjoy the riches at the end. This hike pays you all along the way. Go down the road leading to the Grand Hyatt. Park alongside the road and you... More
