We enjoyed learning about the history of the canoe plants and strolling through the beautiful plants. It's less expensive that the other gardens and the tour is self-guided. Staff on the shuttle bus and in the gift shop were lovely. Not at all crowded when...More

I love plants and I must visit the Botanic Garden everywhere I go. So I was happy to spot the National Bontanic Garden site after going to the Spouting Horn. The tour to McBryde Garden costs more money than other gardens but the shuttle bus...More

Amazing garden! A fantastic selection of local and other tropical plants in a beautiful setting. We took the self-guided tour and were very pleased. Lots of informative signage, too. Very knowledgeable staff, as well.

We took the self guided tour and was very disappointed. Plants needed water and the only flowers were some locust trees. The pathes were not well marked. I expected more flowers and manicured areas. It was all open dry landscape.

I actually preferred this garden over Allerton. Self paced, lots of shade, and the spice garden was very cool. If you can only do one of the gardens, then do this one.

Aloha Cindy - We do not have any Rainbow Eucalyptus tress in the McBryde Garden, but we do have a few at the South Shore Visitors Center. They are such a beautiful tree!
