Stopped quickly just to take a look at this beach. Saw two Hawaiian Monk Seals relaxing on the beach. Lots of snorkel opportunities.

We stopped by this beach several times, once to swim and a couple to snorkel. Great snorkeling location. Lots of fish that are not bashful at all! There was always at least one seal on the beach resting and it seemed like that was a very normal occurrence. Great facilities and parking.

We were able to snorkel really close to shore and see great big schools of fish in really shallow areas. Awesome and family-friendly. This side of the island gets a lot more sun too, than the northside.

Great little beach, somewhat protected with light waves, a little crowded with lots of people snorkeling admiring the sea life, if only we had our snorkel gear.

Fanatastic beach for Couples & Families. Many Families and Couples gathering to view the sunset each evening brings that aloha spirit front and center each and every night. Snorkeling galore as many beautful tropical fish are observed so close to shore

Loved it here, decent snorkeling, kind of a party beach. Not like a crazy beach, just not very secluded or private either --- music playing, lots of people just having a good time. Fun to watch the surfers!

Public beach best know for it's snorkeling and sea animal lounging. We went because we here it's the place to go to see sea turtles on shore. We didn't swim at this beach because we only went to see the sea life which didn't disappoint

We went twice while there. Great snorkeling, watch the coral though. We saw sea turtles and monk seals. Life guards were there and instructive (recommended where to best enter the water for snorkeling) and saved a life while we there. Restrooms, outdoor showers, close to Brennecke's for snacks. Parking across the street and not too crowded.

The water temp was perfect, views were amazing, snorkeling was great and I felt safe with the reefs protection from the big waves. The Turtles would come up to the shore just at dusk and it was just amazing to see them.
