Beautiful beach, good waves, life guard and restrooms

Beautiful location, not a huge beach so in peak season it would be hard to find parking. Next to the Marriott.

Finally made it over here. Plenty of parking. There is a small cove where many children were swimming. Overall, very swimmable. One monk seal was lounging on the sand right in front of me all day. Another baby monk seal was in the sand bar that's a short walk through the water. Close to many hotels. Definitely check it out!

Beautiful beach, waves were a bit rough the day we were there, but still swim-able. Saw some boogie boarding and surfing

In my opinion one of the best beaches on the island. When we went to poipu beach a monk seal had beached itself awesome! Then we looked over and a turtle had beached on the other side. Amazing!!! On our way out we stopped for one last look, two young monk seals were playing, giving us an amazing goodbye. Awesome!!!

Huge sea turtle and monk seal right on the beach. Good snorkeling along the sandy point to the right. Very family friendly.

These beaches are lovely - and there are areas were the surf break is much smaller. And if you are lucky may be a monk seal resting on the beach. But you must stay away from these endangered animals.

Arrive early and if you are lucky you will see turtles on the beach like we did!!!! There are plenty of shady spots and picnic tables and spaces out in the sun too. This beach is perfect for kids and adults with a gorgeous 'pool like' area that is sheltered from the rest of the sea by a breakwater of... More

Beautiful public beach with lifeguard station. Beautiful place to snorkel. Lovely grass areas and picnic shelters as well. Great restaurant, deli and rental store for snorkel, surf gear and chairs just across the street. Highly recommend.

This was our third time to Poipu Beach. The weather was great. It only rained a couple times for a few moments and it was gone. The beach and sand was clean. The waves and rip tide were up due to the recent tropical storm, so you have to be careful and pay attention to the lifeguards and warning signs.... More

If you are at all into snorkeling, you MUST come here! My husband and I saw 5 different types of fish within 5 minutes of submerging!!!
