Ride through lush green pastures, venture down into tropical Hule'ia Valley, and ascend to majestic Haupu for a breathtaking view of Kipu Kai, Kauai's untouched paradise. Experience many blockbuster movie spots such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Outbreak, and Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is tropical 4x4 off road touring at its finest.

We took the land tour (did not go to the waterfall). Owen and Kimo were great guides. Made sure that everyone was comfortable driving and knew how to stay safe. They provided a lot of interesting information about the land and movies that were filmed there. I enjoyed the history and information and understand the importance of it, however we would have liked to have a little more ride time. Just when we got going, we’d stop again. We were a little nervous about how much discussion there was about the terrain and safety. It wasn’t really an issue at all and no reason to be nervous! That said, we enjoyed our time very much and I would highly recommend going! When we returned from our ride, both Owen and Kimo answered all of our questions, not just about the ranch, but about the island in general, even where to get the best fish tacos!

Kipu Ranch was our first excursion on Kauai and it was a great way to let loose! My husband & I were grinning ear to ear the entire time. Our guides, the M&M duo, were knowledgeable, charismatic, and most importantly kept us safe. They even did a demonstration to show how safe the ATVs are. Also, the water conditions were favorable, so we got to swim in the waterfall! It was like something out of a movie; winding through the jungle, ripping across the fields, then paddling around the beautiful waterfall. Tip: You will get dusty, wear the goggles & bandana! We had a group of 5 couples (10 people total) go on this adventure and it was awesome. Each couple got their own UTV and the level of terrain was great for the adventure seeker. Don't expect to stay clean on this trip. We got a little dusty, muddy, and wet when we jumped into the waterfall at the end of the trip. Our guides Ryan and Giggles were hilarious and made the day fly by. I would request them if you're looking for a fun and entertaining tour guide.

The ATV tour was amazing! Ryan and Kyle made the tour that much better with the history and the culture surrounding the ranch. Spending the time we had with them and the ranch on my 60th birthday is what memories are all about! Thank you!

My husband and I had an awesome time on the ATV tour. The staff made sure that we had a safe fun trip. Definitely felt like we were in a Jurassic park/Indiana Jones movie, we had so much fun! Highly recommend!!!

Whether you’re visiting Kaua’i or a local, you’re sure to enjoy this ATV tour. It was informative, fun and the tour guides were awesome! Kimo and Owen were down to earth, had great customer service and made sure everyone was safe.

Our guides Owen and Giggles were awesome! We had a few rain showers pass over which meant it was wet and muddy. This made it even better in our opinion. Great to gain some insight into the history of the land along the way.
Wouldn’t recommend wearing anything light coloured, as the clay did stain when it was wet.

Great Atv adventure! Lots of fun and wild rides. Beautiful stops on ranch property with photo ops and plenty of driving time! David and Marlan were fun and very knowledgeable tour guides. Well worth the money!

We had a great time. The views were amazing! Our guides, Kyle and Marlin, were excellent! They kept our safety in mind and had a lot of great information about the history of the area. The waterfall at the end was a special treat to swim out to. We would do this again.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which Kipu Ranch tour - the signature ranch tour versus the triple trail waterfall tour?

If you want to see ANY movie locations, DO NOT book the waterfall tour. We did not get to go to a single location, even though the waterfall was closed off too.

This is not a question but wanted to bring attention to the fact that this ride is not permitted for children under 9 years of age. The Kipu Ranch adventures website even states that the child has to be 9 and above. Trip advisor fails to say this requirement in the info. We made a reservation, drove out to the ranch and then found out that this is not for children under 9. The Ranch was kind, friendly, and acknowledge the mistake on trip advisor. We had a sad 6 year old but completely understand why that is the recommenced age. We will be back in 3 years when he is 9 to take the ATV and waterfall tour.

Well, during this activity they took us to a waterfall and everybody was able to swim there. So, I do not know if it was public, but we had access through the tour.

Hey, so we are looking to fly over from Honolulu to do a 1:30 tour in May. However I've noticed Uber and Lyft are on the island, but can't service the airport. Saw an old post about a taxi. What are your recommendations in 2019? Thx!!

If you are a licensed driver, from any country, I'm sure it's a non issue. They see travelers from around the world. I wouldn't worry too much. 🤙

What is the best time to take the tour? looking at the 3 hour ranch tour.

We did the 1:30pm 3 hour ultimate ranch tour because we aren’t morning people. I think it’s just personal preference when you want to go. Make sure to wear something you don’t mind getting dirty. Also, your shoes can get stained by the red dirt/mud if it’s been raining. If you want to do the swing on the ropes and fall into the water, wear water shoes (but make sure it’s closed toe shoes since this is a requirement for the tour). Also, wear bug spray. I got at least 10 mosquito bites from the tour on my legs. All in all, the tour guides made it a fun experience for the family!
I see children’s age starts at 9, does that mean a 7 year old Is unable to go?
