About
Our one-of-a-kind Kauai activities include tubing down an old sugar plantation irrigation system, through open canals and several tunnels hand-dug circa 1870. It also includes soaring through the air on our stunning Zipline course, traversing the side of a mountain down to a lush bamboo grove. Through it all you will learn about our island’s history, culture and natural environment. Come join us and take home memories for a lifetime!

The trip is for anyone would wants to have outdoor fun. Greeted by friendly staff who get the paper and waivers out of the way. Then you are fitted with a helmet and headlamp and rubberized cloth gloves. Water shoes are a must, but if you don't have them they can be rented for a reasonable $5.00. Your are then loaded into an open sided truck and shipped off to the back country.

Here the fun begins, Cody was our guide, young, strong and handsome as he is self described. He is witty, informed and personable. He tells the story of Kauai, the plantation and amusing stories and anecdotes to set a fun atmosphere for the rest of the trip. Cody makes sure to introduce the brave, courageous and ever careful BJ as our driver.

Upon arriving at the disembarkation site, gender specific restrooms are pointed out and encouraged to be used for the health and safety of the young children on the east side of Kauai. The rest of our safety conscious crew included Kaili and Kaiona, equally attractive as BJ and Cody.

Several rules are laid out for the trip downstream. All common sense stuff about keeping oneself and limbs in an appropriate place for the trip. Some fun and nonsense rules to make the trip fun and playful. Just a word to the wise, violating the rules require correction of the coldest degree.

The trip itself was about an hour and a half of pure liquid enjoyment. Thrills, laughter and fun are really the orders of the day. The humor is subtle and witty. The organization is first class.

The lunch was fresh and good. Bring your own drink if anything other than water is desired. After you get back, you will get a chance to buy pictures. The price for one is $20, for two or more is $40. If you go with a group, which I recommend, one person can buy everyone's photos for the $40 price. A much better price than at other trips I have taken. There were 20 pictures of our small group of 4, I bought them all.

I say, like most of the Hawaiians that I have befriended, this group will make you feel the aloha spirit and part of their ohana, if you let them.

The tubing adventure came highly recommend from friends so we checked out while on our holidays. We had Marcus as a guide, he's really knowledgeable and super fun, totally made the trip all the better. Highly recommend him, if you can book with him. Only 20 people per half an hour so books up quickly - recommend you pre-book before you leave on vacation. Not an extreme adventure, super relaxing and fun - I think I laughed the entire time. Bring some water shoes (Crocs).

It was raining but we still had an amazing time! I mean, we were going to get wet anyway! Johnny was one of our tour guides. He played the ukulele and sang to us throughout the trip. It was truly the highlight! We had two other awesome tour guides, Damien, and another guys with a beautiful Hawaiian name that of course escapes me at this time. We got a nice history of the area as well as a fun adventure! I would recommend this trip, preferably on a warn sunny day, but even in the rain it was really fun. The photos they took of the adventure are a great souvenir and very affordable.

We went tubing with Mr. Chow, who is an excellent and fun guide and really know the history of the place! They drive us a good way up in the backcountry where the tubing takes place (and they watch all your belongings while we tube). It was such a great experience. All five of us really enjoyed it!! Bca of the winter season there was plenty of water and speed in the channels/tunnels, but still we felt safe. Chow took a hold of my 11 yo son all the way bca he was a bit worried in the beginning. He had the best time! We tubed for 1 hour and 2,5 miles, and the 2 of them was through dark tunnels, but we had headlights on so it was so much fun. We just laughed and spinned through them. Besides Chow who was the front guide, two girl guides also helped us during the ride, they went up and down our group of 20 people and steered us the right way, and helped us to glide safely. You do overtake eachother some times, and bump into eachother but it is just fun. However, it is not possible to stay next to your family all the way. A photographer takes pics to buy along the channels, but I also brought my own waterproof camera. The water is max 3 feet deep, so no use for vests. But we had good use of the gloves, watershoes and helmets, which they provide. We got plenty wet, and had the opportunity of changing into dry clothes before we went back. The nice sandwich lunch in the backcountry was a great finish. Tubing through tunnels is only possible in Kauai, New Zealand and a third place in the entire world, so it is a must-do here!

Went tubing. Had no idea what to expect except everyone rated it highly. We went in Hawaii winter. Initially water was cold (rainy day). Incredible experience. Everyone from children to older people in group. Tube down canals thru tunnels and sometimes in darkness. Loved it. Our team getting us thru safely were funny and highly informative- many stories to tell. At end was a quick lunch before taking us back. Our group bonded very quickly cause of nature of experience and we had a heap of fun together

We were told about the sugar cane canal tubing by friends, we had never heard of it before while on island, a bit hesitant at first to do a tour with 20 other people but we booked it and were looking forward to trying something new on Kauai. Oh boy did we have fun, the tubing was so much fun in the old canal caves and was by far the neatest part of the tour. It was in the remote c-n-h sugar cane area that stopped producing years back and was a place you can’t get to on your own. A few people were nervous but they laughed and enjoyed themselves so much as we did. Jonny “weaver” aka, the coconut whisperer made fishing rods w/ little coconut leaves as fish for the kids and he was a funny and interesting local tour guide, shouts out to him!! We will do it next time with our entire family for sure!!

We went on the 10:30 am tour with Damien on 2/5, he was an excellent guide! I was pleasantly surprised by all the information on the way up to the site about history of the area, recommendations, and notable spots (where Jurassic park was filmed, etc). I was a little worried about the weather since it had been pouring rain all morning. They have wet suit tops for rent ($10 each) which was very helpful to stay warmer. The water was brisk but not as cold as I expected. The tube portion was a fun gentle ride, lots of spinning in the tubes as you bounce off the sides. Overall very gentle, even at 20 weeks pregnant I had no worries. Stopped for a nice picnic lunch and back to the warehouse. I would recommend bringing bug spray, I didn’t and got quite a few bites before the tubing trip and during lunch. Would highly recommend, one of the best parts of the trip!

We enjoyed this excursion January 4th. I was a bit concerned prior to going that it might be too cold, but water temperature is quickly forgotten with the fun and excitement of this tubing adventure. Cinza and Macy were our guides and they were excellent. We were quickly outfitted with well fitting gear and taken up to the sugar plantation. The water was refreshing and fun was had by all- 12,14,16 year old girls and mom. It was everyone's favorite thing to do on the island and we did everything. It is not really possible to stay with your party specifically while tubing but they take pictures at different points in the canals and they are reasonably priced for purchase. We did not need bug spray but it was January. I also recommend wearing a long sleeve swim shirt to prevent tube rash and sunscreen of course.

I have to say that this tour was the Highlight of our trip. Boo Boo was our tour guide and she was awesome. Not only was she funny but she could also sing and play the ukulele! Check in was a breeze. We were given tablets to fill out all our info on, then given helmets and gloves. We were in a group of about 23 and since the jeep we took to our departure point was open air we didn't need to mask up. Masks were required when initially entering the warehouse before departure though. Boo Boo enlightened us on some Hawaiian history about the sugar cane industry and kept us all smiling and laughing the entire time. Her assistants were also great and made sure we all stayed together when on the tubes. Tubing through the plantation irrigation system is something I never thought would be so exhilarating and relaxing at the same time. We went through several hand-dug tunnels which were truly amazing and the last one we did with our headlamp off. They provided a great spread for us at the end which included makings for sandwiches, and delicious cookies! The one thing we left in our car that I wish we should have brought for the jeep ride back to the warehouse were towels or sweatshirts. It got a little cold towards the end. (we were on the 3 pm tour). . This tour was highly recommended to us by friends and we are so glad we took their advice. We felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique adventure while in Kauai. I would recommend booking it before arriving to the island because it books up fast!

This was our second time tubing with this fun group. After experiencing this together we knew we had to bring our kids one day! They had a blast! The guides are knowledgeable, kind and great with kids! They know how to engage the entire group and make everyone laugh while ensuring safety and a good time. Our tour was mostly in the rain which made it better! It would be strange to visit the rainiest place on earth wo any rain! On our walk from the vans to the launch site, our guide led us through a brief nature walk which also included island history. It is clear how much the crew loves their job but more how much they love their home and island of Kauai.

Following the tour we had lunch, played some games and got some great recommendations on other things to do on the island (snorkel spots, food, etc). No upsells. Just an all around blast.

We highly recommend this tour- worth every penny. Tips not openly encouraged (no tip jar, or suggestions, etc) but graciously appreciated.
