This was a very beautiful place with shops and vendors outside. If you got there at 5 I under stand you got a lei however we didn't arrive until about 6:30 in time for dinner and the show. We didn't have much time to look around at the vendors before it started and I wish we had arrived earlier. This... More

This was a different type of Luau than I have seen in the past. They did a theatrical story presentation of Hawaiian legends. The male lead performer/singer was very good and the dancers did a fine job. The food was great. I missed the more traditional aspects of a luau with different types of dances and explanations of what they... More

The show was fun the train tour was neat to see all the different fruits grown on the plantation and the rum tasting is nice and close. It's well worth the money for an enjoyable evening with good food and fun.

We went to this luau with our three kids, my parents and my aunt and uncle and we all loved it! Our youngest is a year old and he was mesmerized by the costumes and the music. It was not your typical luau, it wasn't just tricks, it was more of a play and a whole story. We loved it.... More

Have been to this luau three times, and each time I find something new to talk about. It isn't just a luau, it is a theatrical production of Hawaiian culture that chronicles the sea voyage from Tahiti to Hawaii. Very colorful and impressive. Food served buffet style with open bar concept. Lots to eat and drink.

Really enjoyed the overall experience on the Kalamaku grounds. The staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. We were treated like we were the only people there. The meal was fine but nothing to write home about. The real enjoyment came with the entertainment. The story was extremely well told by the actors and provided a really good picture of the... More

Well, we are in Hawaii so a luau is a must. We read that LK was the best and overall from what we experienced it would definitely meet or exceed most everyone's ideas. And luau expectations. There are lots of vendors showing wRes if you show up early. Open bar is nice based on the price paid. Overall staff are... More

We did the train ride first for our great grandson to enjoy. It was good but not a necessity. You get to see the orchards and feed goats and pigs bread over a fence. the luau itself was smooth, fast, orderly. When we got back from train ride the rest of the guests were already eating salad, bread, pineapple, etc.... More

I've never been a fan of luaus. I've been to several of them on other islands back in my youngin' days and never really enjoyed the food or the experience. But then, I am not a fan of doing very touristy things. Even though I knew that this would be a cheesy experience with plenty of mediocre food, I wanted... More

What a wonderful evening I have been to Luaus on other islands, but this is the best one yet. The food was excellent (didn't eat the Poi). The show was fabulous. I was so enthralled I forgot to take pictures. We had met Domi one of the actors earlier in the week so that made it more special. The fire... More
