This was my fourth time whale watching, and my partner and I saw more whales that we've ever seen on any other adventure. We were even lucky to see whales breaching - including a baby whale. Guides, Dave and Will, were highly experienced and happy to answer any questions or tell entertaining anecdotes. We felt like we were in good hands, and you can tell that they love what they do. It was great fun to speed along in the Zodiac. It was so thoughtful of them to provide brownies and hot cocoa to warm up at the conclusion of the trip. (The brownies were sooo delicious.) Can't wait to come back someday and do it all again! It would have been fun and worth it without seeing whales, but I'm sure glad we did.

I booked a Zodiac tour several days in advance, and they cancelled my trip at 7 PM the night before. It's quite frustrating when tour operators have 48 hour cancellation policies for customers, but they cancel with ~12 hours notice. (The cancellation was NOT for weather.) This makes it quite difficult to plan your week.

Katie and Dave took us out to two spots. We saw tons of turtles and dozens of species of fish, and even a couple humpback whales. Dave was really informative about the island, nature sport spits like surfing, currents, and storm patterns, and Katie knew so much about all the different critters their names, their diet, etc. The lunch was also yummy. We paid for 4 hours and were only out for three but I think it may have been due to the storm. Would book them again. A lot of bang for your buck.

It was a bit of a stormy and windy day but that just made it all the more fun. We saw whales, turtles and dolphins and got a really cool visit of the rough coast line from a different perspective. Captain and crew were knowledgeable and fun. There were only four of us and we all got soaked and had a really great time. I would highly recommend this tour and would do it again myself.

I technically saw a few whales. But, they were far away. I saw a couple of dorsal fins for a split second, the tail end of a whale breaching the water, and a second of a whale spouting water into the air. These were all short lived and I didn’t have time to use my camera to capture the moment. But, I know they cannot guarantee some marvelous experience with whales breaching the water everywhere around you. Wouldn’t that be nice? Lol. I don’t want to be mean, but I was hoping for experienced tour guides with a love for whales. Instead the tour guides seemed like they memorized some facts about whales online and recited those facts during the tour. They were both young and actually preferred to host diving/snorkeling tours. It seemed like the company just offered them extra shifts to guide whale tours as long as they learned some facts about whales. Also, I didn’t expect to get so wet. I sat near the rear of the vessel and was soaked. Good thing they provide rain jackets. But, even with the rain jackets I was cold. Maybe it was the time of year I went (February?) and time of day (sunset tour). But, I did have fun being on the boat and going fast through the water. We did see some sea turtles and a monk seal as well. And the guides were friendly and kept conversation going. I felt that the captain knew what he was doing and made us feel safe. He was also the most knowledgeable about whales, other sea creatures and about the island. At the end, they provided hot chocolate and snacks. I love chocolate, so I enjoyed the hot chocolate and brownie :) I think they had some fruit and chips as well.
