Kauai Ultimate Off-Road Ranch Tour

470 reviews
Go off-roading in Kauai on a 4x4 tour of Kipu Ranch, a historic landscape of mountains, valleys, and the secluded Kipu Kai beach. Get a lesson in driving a 4WD vehicle, or ride as a passenger if you prefer. Follow a guide to reach hidden and remote parts of the private ranch you’ll recognize from movies like Jurassic Park and The Descendants, stopping to take photos at each spot.

This place has a Bistro and a Bakery plus shops full of well made clothes, pottery, art and artisan items. This is a while away place. stroll, sit for tea or snack or even a meal. A feast for your eyes and taste buds. Friendly residents, visitors and shopkeepers.

Loved the Black Dog Gallery in Kong Lung Historic Market Center! Lots of beautiful artwork at all different price points. Great pieces for a flavor of Kauai. Kirsten was so helpful, warm, and friendly.

We visited the Kong Lung Market Center a couple times - we ate at the Bistro and the Kilauea Bakery (a few times for the guava chocolate macaroons). We bought some gifts at the Kong Lung Trading company and loved the Black Dog Gallery.

These old lava rock plantation buildings used to house the General Store, and gas station, right next door to what used to be the movie theatre. All buildings have been repurposed for a bakery, dining, wine bar, a variety of merchandise sales, and a church. Historic photos and script tell the story of this Plantation Town. Worth a visit for certain.

We didn't even know this place was near us when we stayed in Princeville. So much to see/do. Go to The Bistro, Aloha Xchng, and the other beautiful boutiques. You will NOT be disappointed. Beautiful place to sit and unwind, have a great meal, dessert and pick a beautiful find to take home.
