Mini golf in a gorgeous garden setting
Mini golf inside a botanical gardens! It was a full 18 holes. There were lots of educational plaques about the culture and history of Hawaii and Kauai. And there is a happy hour from 4:30-6 with draft beers at the bar.

    Fabulous concert - Great Venue
This facility was a perfect venue for a fabulous concert! We sat in the reserved seats and were able to see & hear beautifully. The food that was available for purchase was delicious and the entrance & exit was well organized, smooth and swift. We all loved this event. Mahalo!

Great playground for big and little kids on the North Shore
We visited the playground on a rainy day in July. Such a beautiful, clean facility with room for antsy kids to run, play, explore and pretend. The two separate play areas are perfect for little kids (2-5) and big kids too. We loved the attention to detail and incorporation of Hawaiian history and lifestyle into the playground pieces. There is plenty of parking, garbage cans and covered seating areas. This is a great stop for families looking for a beach break, or a picnic stop. Free and fun for everyone!

    Family Fun with Putt Putt
We went to Anaina Hou to play putt putt golf. We really enjoyed the course. Very educational and beautiful with flowers and trees. Well priced and finished with a delicious shaved ice. The whole park was full of activities and things to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Was recommended Sunset Lanai by a coworker for a nice, low-key pau hana, and decided to try it out. Ambiance was nice, bartender was friendly, and the drinks were cold. Talking with staff, they told us that they were excited to try and make the lanai a local hangout, and trying to get the word out to the locals to come by.

We were enjoying the evening when the bartender came over about 750 and said they were going to do a last call, which seemed a bit early for an 830 closing time, so we ordered one last drink. As the bartender brought us drinks, security came out and announced to everyone, "all right guys, we're closing so you all need to finish your drinks." and immediately started putting covers on the lawn furniture. at 801 they came back around and announced, "Look everyone, we are closed. you need to finish your drinks and go." I asked him about the posted closing time of 830 and he responded that it didn't matter, they were closing now, and it was time for us to get out. Taking the not so subtle hint, we left our half full drinks and started walking to the door. The security guy then called out to us and said, "Just remember, if you don't like it, you don't have to come back!"

I have experienced poor service multiple times at a number of different places, but I have never been openly heckled by staff. The disrespect was incredible, and its safe to say, yes... I wont be coming back.

Aloha James, My name is Jill Lowry; I am the CEO for Anaina Hou and I am understandably concerned by your experience. Ironically we have both a leadership meeting, and a meeting with our contracted security team tomorrow. I have printed your review and will be introducing it at both meetings. Thank you for helping us be better. I am happy to hear that our actual staff was friendly and welcoming; I hope you'll give us another try in the future. Mahalo Nui Loa

We visited here in June with older teens. We were the first on the course which was nice because the teens were quick and could go ahead without waiting for anyone. Good family fun. We were done within an hour. Everyone agreed, they were glad we did this. It's through a botanical garden and is a nice low-key Hawaii outing. If you are there on a Saturday morning like we were, there's a farmer's market going on too. Masks were required on the mini golf course even though it's outdoors.

We booked a miniature golf outing with my significants 12 year old grandson, it was so much fun. The course lovely in term of the botanical gardens. Primarily 2 & 3 par course, but challenging on some of them, overall great fun. They have s full service snack bar from ice cream to espresso drinks. We’d highly recommend this as an outing for the entire family.

There was some really amazon planning, thought, and execution that went into this place. Community park, playground, events, mini golf with gardens, happy hour destination, live music, amazing food, and cultural education…seriously this is probably the best planned place we have visited. I am so thankful we found this place before our last couple days. This will be my #1 recommendations for anyone visiting Kauai!

Another vacation mini golf challenge. Course has informational signs about Hawaii and plants. Something to learn if the course slows. Our 18 holes went pretty fast. Some more difficult than others, but always fun. Post golf shaved ice and ice cream available.

Love this mini-golf course that doubles as a mini-botanic garden. Excellent care for Covid distancing. Relaxing, fun, and educational too! Learned about which plants belong here on the island and which were brought in, and where the people of the islands came from in the world. All a part of having fun playing mini-golf!

What a fantastic Minigolf course this is. Nicely designed in a botanical garden. Challenging courses but also suitable for kids. We played twice there this week.
