We've been going to Banana Joe's for the past 15 years every time we visit Kauai. The smoothies made of fresh fruit are outstanding, not to say refreshing on a long, hot drive to Ke'e or Hanalei Bay. They've recently opened a chocolate experience which...More

Banana Joe's sells souvenirs and chocolate covered banana's, chocolate and other sweets. Another hut on site sells fruit freezes. Previous owners retired. We MISS our vegetable and fruit stand. Please change the sign to Chocolate Banana Joe's Stand and cross out the word 'fruit'.

Sadly, I don’t think this is a fruit stand anymore. We went and it seems like it’s a chocolate stand now- didn’t see any fruit, and no signs of the smoothies or frostys we were hoping to try.

I love this place. It's small. It's friendly. It has fruit, Mahalo. I'd give up most of my worldly possessions if I could get a job here with a little apartment in Princeville. Depending on the day and time of your visit they may get...More

Not much for fruits and no smoothies? Should hook em up, choke fruit and veggies with the farmers market right there. Lame, no kama’aina.

Sitting in the hot tub at our condo, someone raved about this place! Looking forward to an amazing experience, we stopped over after a trip to the lighthouse. Imagine our surprise when, instead of being treated to a delectable treat, we were told that they...More

Mini golf loser was to buy smoothies so we stopped in after golf (right across the parking lot). Smoothie was decent. Fruit seemed a bit overpriced but some other nice local stuff (syrups, cookies). Overall, a good stop but don’t make a special trip there.

Order the frosty. It’s amazing. The fruit used for said frosty is seasonal (currently pineapple and banana). I’ve visited Banana Joes both in summer and winter, over the last 7 years and the quality never waivers. My fav is during the summer with the mangoes...More

Sorry, don't travel to Kauai that time of year. Did not remember any signage saying otherwise.
