We've been going to Banana Joe's for the past 15 years every time we visit Kauai. The smoothies made of fresh fruit are outstanding, not to say refreshing on a long, hot drive to Ke'e or Hanalei Bay. They've recently opened a chocolate experience which we frankly didn't even explore because of our nostalgic relationship with their fruit smoothies. Banana Joe's sells souvenirs and chocolate covered banana's, chocolate and other sweets. Another hut on site sells fruit freezes. Previous owners retired. We MISS our vegetable and fruit stand. Please change the sign to Chocolate Banana Joe's Stand and cross out the word 'fruit'.

Joe has retired and become a landlord. The GOOD NEWS is that he has rented a prime space to the Fehring Family Farmstand, which has those world famous frosties and smoothies and acai bowls and homemade organic popsicles available daily. Stop by; you will not regret doing so, YUMMY and so ONO.…

Sadly, I don’t think this is a fruit stand anymore. We went and it seems like it’s a chocolate stand now- didn’t see any fruit, and no signs of the smoothies or frostys we were hoping to try.

I love this place. It's small. It's friendly. It has fruit, Mahalo. I'd give up most of my worldly possessions if I could get a job here with a little apartment in Princeville. Depending on the day and time of your visit they may get a little crowdwd inside.
