Our family has visited Kauai several times in the last 10 years, but never stopped to try this place. Well, after one try of their Banana Pineapple Frosty, we plan to make this stop part of our timeshare visit itinerary! Wonderful local products from produce to baked goods. Brought back some brownies to the timeshare and they did not make... More

If you're looking for a smoothie in the midday Hawai'i sun, this is a great place to stop. And while you're waiting for your smoothie, you might shop for fruit. Here you'll find an array of exotic fruits that you may know and love, and perhaps you may find something you've never had before. A great place for a pit... More

We stop here regularly for fresh mango/papaya salsas but there are many other reasons to stop. They carry quite a few Kauai products, including my favorite granolas, lots of fresh fruit and veggies and of course the wonderful smoothies. Haven't always found the people working there to be friendly or particularly helpful but it's still one of our favorite places... More

We always go for the combo frosties. The ingredients are frozen banana or frozen pineapple or a combo of the two...that's all. My kids love them. We love them. Great ice pops too. Joe is a north shore icon and his fruit stand is a must-stop. Right by the mini golf, chocolate tour, and a great farmers market (saturday mornings).

We've been to Kauai`s North Shore maybe 30 times, and Banana Joe's is the first stop! Get grounded, get fruit, sit and quietly sip a smoothie, listen to the chickens and the breeze in the palm trees... Good people, good food, good place to just be.

Even for Kauai were everything is expensive this place is just terrific. $4.50 for a small smoothie! The fruits and vegetables are also nice and organic but the price are really out of this world.

In Hawaii, a vegetarian eats fruit, and this is the best fruits of the island. The place is delightful, easily visible along the road to Hanalei. The managers are very kind and very nice. As I said, the fruit of the highest quality, there are also several organic products for a quick snack, but the delight, the goodness of banana... More

We got the banana frosty, and it was magical. Banana, creamy, cold, smooth, and so satisfying. Picture included! Service was fast!

Not a lot of choice but who needs it they make GREAT smoothies. Fresh and tasty made to order. Just get whatever they are serving and enjoy. It's not complicated . . . Simply well done.
