This botanical garden was absolutely stunning. We took a 3-hour tour which involved getting on and off of a tram. Our volunteer docent, Donna, gave detailed information regarding the history of the property and how it came to be developed over a long period. She...More

Botanical Gardens aren’t my thing, but when on Kauai it really makes sense to visit one of the many gardens maintained on the island. We stopped here on way to Hanalei (reservations are recommended) for the 1 1/2 hour tour and was very impressed with...More

Private property with absolutely stunning landscaping and statuary. The walking landscaping tour is $35., which is pretty steep, but it is a beautiful 1 1/2 hour guided tour. They have other tours that take you to the beach as well, for substantially more. The staff...More

We’ve been to Na Aina Kai many times, and greatly enjoy the sculptures and plants. Incredible. THIS time we signed up for the weekly birding tour, and found ourselves with Julie up close and personal with >20 nesting albatross, and also observing courting “dances” ......More

We had gone to Allerton earlier in our KAUAI visit, and read about this garden in one of the maps we got at our hotel. It was more than worth the one-hour drive around the island to go on the ride & stroll 3-hour tour....More

We took a 3-hour riding tour. This place is truly exceptional and the tour likely was the highlight of our 2 weeks on Kaua'i. Our guide Jacqui (I think that's how she spelled it) did an excellent job. We weren't rushed, she was very knowledgeable,...More

I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.
