We had gone to Allerton earlier in our KAUAI visit, and read about this garden in one of the maps we got at our hotel. It was more than worth the one-hour drive around the island to go on the ride & stroll 3-hour tour....More

We took a 3-hour riding tour. This place is truly exceptional and the tour likely was the highlight of our 2 weeks on Kaua'i. Our guide Jacqui (I think that's how she spelled it) did an excellent job. We weren't rushed, she was very knowledgeable,...More

We did the Weds. morning bird walk with Julie on Jan. 9th. She is a volunteer who's now in charge of monitoring the Laysan albatross nesting site on the Garden property. What a treat to get up close and personal with albatrosses. They don't seem...More

We took the walking tour and enjoyed it so much that we also signed up for the afternoon golf cart tour. Our guide, James was informative and entertaining. He professed not to be a botanical expert but delivered the perfect amount of information about the...More

The Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens is such a wonderful labor of love by the couple who bought the property many years ago. We took the Ride and Stroll tour that lasted even longer than the 3 hours it was supposed to! Absolutely gorgeous grounds,...More

Two of us took the three hour golf cart tour. $50 each. The only negative is they use a gas powered cart to tour us. Smelly. They really need an electric carts but our tour guide said they aren’t powerful enough to get up and...More

I don't believe so. Plus there's no way to see the entire place just by walking. Highly recommend the Stroll/ride tour. Cover way more ground, and the guides are really knowledgeable.
