Our favorite beach find. Long wide sandy crescent beach. Parking looks busy but beach is huge and not crowded. Surfing. Restrooms. Rougher water but still safe swimming.

This long narrow beach park is right along HWY 56 (main highway on this part of the island). Quite a bit of parking. Not many trees or shelters. Fun surf to play on. There is a bath house and restroom on the north end. Super...More

Decided to check it out since it was close to our place and had plenty of parking. Now I know why. It's a serious spot with a lot of waves and splashing about isn't it. Maybe to sit on the beach or have a picnic...More

Easy to access beach right off of Kuhio Hwy past Kapaa town. Plenty of parking, but the lot had a TON of huge potholes. Beware or you could really tear up your rental car. Decent beach overall. Lifeguard on duty. Restrooms and picnic areas plus...More

Typical windy day. Waves and rip brutal. South side you blink the ocean takes you. This us no joke beach. Easy parking. Nice sand. Disarming. Till the beast bites you. Stay north. Stay alert. Watch the kids. It's intense.

This was a nice beach with decent waves. Lots of parking to choose from which I love. Near food truck for a nice lunch.

This is an easily accessible beach with plenty of parking. One of the beaches where there is a lifeguard and is easy to get to. Close to the Kapaa beach path and has restroom facilities.

Great lookout above the beach and in the right season signs suggest you can see whales from here. Sadly not the right time of year for us but good views and able to park.

Right off the Kuhio Highway, this popular beach park has plenty of red dirt parking. There are lots of potholes, so take your time in finding your spot. While not remote, the beach does feel a bit isolated at times, so be aware of your...More

We stopped at Kealia Beach when we had some time to kill on our last day. It wasn't as well-kept and clean as the other beaches we had seen, but the waves were great to watch. It seemed like maybe a surfing hang-out, and there...More
