The market place has been pretty dead for the last few years unfortunately. In it's day it was fun, hula girls, lots of shops and good restaurants. It is convenient to some hotels if you are looking for some quick shops. Hope they resurrect it...More

They are trying to resurrect this "down on its luck" shopping center, but there are still lots of empty stores. Good for last-minute souvenirs, but that's about it.

My husband and I walked here from our hotel. In our opinion the shops were terribly over priced and all carried the same things.

Excellent Farmers Market on Tues and Thurs! Get the avocados and pineapples. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

The Coconut Marketplace was within walking distance from our hotel and the shops had reasonable prices on food and souvenirs. They were in the process of doing construction to the marketplace but it didn't seem to disrupt the pleasant visit we had there. Highly recommend.
