I offer a deeply relaxing healing massage on the beautiful Island of Kauai. Swedish and deep tissue combine to relax and refresh you. I am conveniently located in downtown Kapaa and am also available to come to your location. Affordable rates and flexible scheduling including early evenings and weekends. Tara is a really fantastic massage therapist. She also has reasonable rates, especially for this island. Iāve gone to her multiple times and have been very pleased. I like deep tissue massages and she was able to accommodate me and relieve a lot of the issues I was having. I highly recommend her.

I booked Tara for two 1 hr sessions for my husband and me. She was available the same day and brought her table to our condo in Princeville ($20 travel fee).
I specifically informed her that my husband likes heavy, deep tissue, asked her if she could do that, and reiterated that he liked very deep tissue massage. When she came I reminder her that he liked deep tissue and he mentioned it to her, told her to go as hard as possible and he would let her know if it was too much. She was not able to go deep enough for him.
For my massage I told her to be firm but not hard - she gave me what I asked for. The massage was nice; spent too much time on hands and feet (my husband stated she barely spent any time on his hands and feet) and hardly any time on neck.
I can honestly say this was a good massage - worth the price, but if you want anything special (such as DEEP tissue massage) then you may want to look elsewhere. If you want a relaxing hour without breaking the bank, then give Tara a call.
Note - it is just Tara so the couples massage is in tandem (one after the other), not in conjunction (together). We were o.k. with this but just know ahead of time.

Jurast received another great massage from Tara. I come here every time I land in Kauai. Year after year, I am guaranteed a great relaxing massage from head to toe. Tara is super sweet and she gives a great massage without hurting you, and I just love love love her deep, long, and sweeping strokes. Well, all I can tell you is that I always feel refreshed after getting a massage from Tara. She has a modest office location and keeps her prices down since she is not operating out of a spa. Thank you Tara, and see you again soon! Mahalo!

Total waste of money. Did not give me the full hour, she kept rubbing the same spot I told her not to touch from pain. Her massage room is a bit of a dump but if she tried harder and showed a little interest in her job as a masseuse I would not have cared. She was cold and distant. Staring off into space the entire time. I donāt know what she was thinking about during the massage but it certainly wasnāt me.
Another business in Kappa that counts on tourists coming in every day no matter what.
I shouldāve saved my money and gone to dinner.

As an LMT practicing for 15 years - do not go here. No concept of musculature, no palpation skills, nothing targeted- just broad sweeping strokes with forearm or elbow- and with zero focus or intent. Did not understand the names of the muscles I wanted targeted. Just kind of rubbed the same area until I insisted she stop. More damage than good.
I wouldāve terminated the massage but I tried to direct with named muscles - and was actually getting amused by the lack of knowledge. If you regularly get massages - you will be disappointed. If you only get massages while on vacation - this will suit you.

We had a person come to our condo to do a couples massage. I usually like a very deep tissue massage - the harder the better. I was very disappointed with Tara, the masseuses. She seemed as if she was very new at giving a massage and her technique was very basic and simple. I specifically asked her for a deep tissue massage and all I got was some simple rubbing. I asked her again to go as deep as possible and I would let her know if it became too much - it never did. If you want a simple rub-down then Tara might be OK for you. If you want a professional, deep tissue massage, look elsewhere.

What a wonderful massage. Tara was awesome! I came in with a few specific areas that needed work after a day of swimming and a full round of golf. and was looking for an all over relaxation massage. Tara incorporated several modalities into her work (ie: some lomilomi and deeper work where needed) and after 1.5 hours I was relaxed and in no pain. I get massages at home about every 3-4 weeks and tara's was as good as my cherished regular masseuse. I also like that her reasonable prices leave room for a nice tip. I highly recommend her!!

After playing a lot of golf and doing other activities my husband and I really wanted a massage for our tired and aching muscles. I found A Heavenly Massage and Tara looking through TripAdvisor reviews. We scheduled massages for myself and my husband. I left a message and Tara called back promptly the same day. We were able to schedule for the following day. We had her come to us for a mobile massage. She was on time, courteous and professional. She was set up in no time at all. She made sure to ask us if we had areas that we would like concentrated on. I just requested if she found an area that really needed the work to work on it. I could tell when she found those tight muscles in my shoulders. She got those muscle cramps worked out. Usually after a massage it doesnāt take long for those muscle cramps to come back but Tara did a fantastic job and I still feel great! If you want a great massage just call Tara!

Very happy with the service received from Tara. Went twice while on vacation in Kapaa. A great medium/deep massage - very professional and therapeutic. Really worked out some knots in my legs and shoulders as a result of long flights and scuba diving. Great value for money compared with other spas in the area. Did the 90 minute massage the 2nd time, which was worth it for some extended time on the most sore areas. Tara was generally booked up the same day - so plan ahead and make a booking for the next day.

I have had 2 massages now and I am 75 years old with many massages in my past!! Tara gives me the best massage of my entire life!! She is very professional and I am happy that I live close by!! You will love š your peaceful time with her.
