We used this path frequently when we were staying at the ISO hotel. It was a great place to watch the eclipse of the moon and made for a good evening walk going to the restaurants in Kapaa.

A great walk/run (or bike ride) beside the glorious ocean! This is a must-stop to destress and find your happy place. The path begins in downtown Kapaa for a few miles north to a parking lot. A beautiful place to unwind!

Be sure to rent bikes (it's cheap) and ride this fabulous and easy trail. If runs right beside the ocean giving you cool breezes and fantastic views. Do not miss your chance to do this!

We rented bikes and rode both directions for a total of 7 miles. Rented bikes without gears as they just aren’t needed! Very enjoyable ride. Lots of beaches so lots of bathroom opportunities if needed. We began about 9:50 am and by noon the path...More

Nicely maintained cement path that winds along the Kauai shore line. Plenty of places to sit, listen and enjoy the waves splashing against the shore.

Great Hike/Bike Path. Runs about 8 miles along the beach in Kapaa. Not too crowded early in the day.

Was a nice walk to do the first afternoon that we got to the island. Sometimes there were multiple transients on the side of the path but that did not bother us

It depends on where you start, really. The paved section is about 4.5 miles long, at this time. Going north, after that, it turns into a dirt trail.

Coconut Coasters is tight on the path. We have used them many times on several different Kauai vacations.
