Kapaa Beach Shop has other beach gear for rent such as boogie boards, beach chairs, wet suits and all your snorkeling needs. We have a very large selection of snorkeling and diving masks even if you have a prescription. A great range of fins including those for free diving and scuba, a good selection of spear guns, knifes, gloves, booties and water socks. We. Wet suits for sale for free diving and spear fishing. Plus spearguns for sale. We NO longer have Bike Rentals!

Loved this little place! They were super friendly and helpful. We rented a lot of equipment from them, and they took the time to make sure we knew how to use it and everything worked properly. And they were full of good advice and suggestions. We highly recommend them!

We rented two chairs and an umbrella for our 2-week stay on Kauai. The gear was in great condition and made our time at the beaches so much more enjoyable! Pricing was great and I loved being able to make a reservation online. The owners, and their cute dog, were very friendly and laid back. The shop also has a large selection of spear diving equipment.

Mike and Janie were incredibly helpful and friendly as we were planning activities throughout our trip. I wish everyone we encountered were as wonderful as they were! Their gear is great quality, and they gave us numerous recommendations for snorkel areas, hikes, kayak tips, and other ways to explore the island. So grateful we walked into their shop! Looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in Kauai.

We arrived at 3:30P, with ample time to ride bikes in the 4.5 miles of bike trail in Kapaa. The clerk (middle aged white guy with shaved head), was a real smart ass about renting the bike and then admitted that he had put the bikes away for the day. But he did offer to go through the trouble of getting them out for us—big sacrifice. The bikes were behind the fence and took 30 seconds to get out. He was rude and only interested in going home or to the beach... I didn’t appreciate the attitude. There are plenty of other bike rentals near here... choose the others...

the couple who owns the place are friendly & helped us w/good equipment for snorkeling. took the time to fit us well (and the masks did not leak.). also gave us suggestions on beaches to snorkel. the price was very reasonable. good people!

Outstanding experience with Mike and Janie when I rented a bike for a week while on vacation. They helped pick out the perfect bike and provided exceptional customer service. The bike was clean, well maintained and comfortable for my excursions up and down the bike path. I HIGHLY recommend you make this a Must Do while in Kauai!

Rented a bike from them, and it was a very good experience. they gave me the best bike, and only charged $5 per hr, after 2 hrs, it goes to $10 for entire day. what a deal. owner mike was very nice to deal with, pleasant, sweet and offering good advice. will def go back again to rent from them. by the way the bike run is 4.5 miles each way and a great workout. flat.

Great bike and beach shop for adults and kids with reasonable prices, high quality bikes and super friendly owners! Nice dog too. Classy touch with fresh, clean towels after a short Kauai afternoon shower. We had 4 kids and 4 adults, and it worked out really well!!

My wife and I went to Hawaii for the first time as our Honeymoon. Coming from Ohio we knew very little about the island of Kauai, and much less about snorkeling in the various locations there. The Kapaa Beach Shop made the experience much easier, and the pricing for rental gears were the most reasonable we can find. Most importantly we felt the interactions were more personal than purely business.

We will be visiting the island again next spring. My son who is currently in a wheelchair will be joining us. Do you have the sand chairs for rent and how much?
