Absolutely amazing tour!!! From first contact with Shane (owner) who provided great customer service, answering questions right away, to tour guide Patrick who picked us up from the Norwegian ship and showed us breathtaking Kauai. He took us to the best viewpoints of the canyon and national parks, to the lodge for lunch, and then on a hike to the waterfall. Do not hesitate to book a tour with them. We were a group of 4, ages 53, 22, 25, and 16.

Our hiking tour was excellent! We hiked the Nualolo trail. A fantastic view of the Nāpali Coast .
Bright was our tour guide! He was excellent! Very patient with our pace and focused on our safety! He identified native vs non native plants on the trail. We tasted strawberry guava and pineapple guava berries along the way.
Our our way back to the meeting point we stopped at the Waimea Canyon overlook and Waipo'o Falls- both breathtaking!
We strongly recommend Kauai Hiking Tours and ask for Bright as your tour guide!!!

Awesome that you were able to hike the entire Nualolo Trail - that can be a hard one for folks, being almost 8 miles RT with almost 2k of elevation gain! Cool that you were able to sample some guava along the way, and that Bright pointed out native and non-native plants!!

Bright was the best we could have asked for. My mom, brother, and I backpacked the Na Pali Coast and he was an amazing resource. From initial contact and preparation and throughout our trip, he took into account our different skill levels and knowledge to make one of the most challenging hikes an incredible experience. Thank you SO MUCH Bright!!
I had previously done a hike in Waimea Canyon with Jeremiah and have full confidence in Kauai Hiking Adventures. They provide impeccable service backed by obvious knowledge and skill. I would recommend them again and again. Thank you!

Bright our trip guide was amazing.
Expert hiker, safe, solicitous, engaging, personable, so knowledgeable about the area, multitude of options. Really enjoyed him and the hike.
KHA was east to communicate with, timely, clear, simple, easy.
All around great.

We did the South shore hike with Sequoya. It was fabulous! We are not avid hikers and she was great finding the easiest path. We saw the sinkhole, some African tortoises, blowholes and beautiful views! She is very knowledgeable about flora and fauna as well as Hawaiian history. She ended the hike with cold water and the most delicious pineapple. All my kids had a great time. Would not hesitate to book another hike with her!

We spent almost 2 weeks in Hawaii (Big Island and Kauai) and this was definitely a highlight! Jeremiah was a fantastic guide. Great communication before hand. We met him at a designated spot and then hopped into his car and he drove up into the canyon. We stopped by the lodge for bathroom break and to order our lunch ahead of time so we would not have to wait on line later (something you can do only because they know him.) He then took us on a hike that he basically discovered from his vast experience of hiking so we were the only ones there. It ended in the most spectacular view. That took up most of the morning. We then went back to the lodge where there was a table waiting for us (despite if being very crowded) and enjoyed lunch. The afternoon was spent seeing some of the more travelled views but of course Jeremiah always knew the best places to view. The whole time he took lots of pictures and videos of us and air dropped them to us at the end of the day. If you enjoy hiking, this is not to be missed.

We hiked/explored the south shore of Kaua'i on our last evening in paradise.
Jeremiah tailored our trip to make it a perfect experience for us.
It is clear he has abundant knowledge of Hawaiian culture and the natural flora and fauna and imparted that knowledge to us in an interesting, engaging and unintimidating manor. He is passionate about keeping the island as pristine as possible and appears to "give back" to the community in many ways to ensure this happening. Both of our hikes with Kauai Hiking Adventures were unique, interesting, informative and personally customized to our interest and ability. Anita was so kind, professional and enthusiastic in making sure we had the best possible experiences with this company.
I cant say enough good things!!

Bright was our tour guide to Kailua Ridge with the waterfall swim add-on to Hopii Falls. My son (24) and I have little hiking experience and this easy/moderate tour was great for us. We have been to Hawaii several times and have done many activities. This is by far one of the best activities we have done. We highly recommend it.

Hiking with Jeremiah was an amazing time. he was very knowledgeable about the terrain, plants and birds. His stories are incredible. he is an extremely capable outdoorsman. I was concerned that my children would complain the whole time, since they are no avid hikers. but Jeremiah kept them engaged and interested the entire time. we saw some lookout points, incredible views, and lots of wildlife. this was one of the highlights of our trip.

Jeremiah and Stephanie were great. As some told us after we did the tour - “The best”. We agree they were great. They know the secrets of the island. The people of the island are great … the worst part of this guided tour, like our trip, is that we didn’t have more time to ensnare our soul. I suspect we’ll be back sooner rather than later. Thank you again!

Sorry for the late reply.
Our tours start at $295 per private group of 1 - 4 people (there is an additional per person charge if the group is larger than 4). That price is for our 1 - 3 hour Short & Sweet Custom Tour (though, to be clear, all of our tours are private, custom tours). Our "Full Day" 6 - 7 hour tour is $495 per private group of 1 - 4 people.
