One of the highlights of our time in Hawaii!

45 minute Kayak, 1 mile walk through the jungle, and swimming at the bottom of a 120 foot waterfall. This was an experience of a lifetime. The water was cold, but being able to stand under a waterfall was thrilling. The tour was great. The guide was great. We brought our own food and water. They provided the backpack and... More

I could not imagine a better tour than the one my girlfriend and I took with WKA a few days ago. The check-in and transportation to the launch site were quick, easy, and friendly. The kayaks were in perfect shape and easy for all skill levels. Our guide was really cool, knowledgeable, and relaxed while remaining professional and ensuring the... More

We had a great time with our guide, Cole, as we kayaked up the Wailua River at sunrise. The hike to Secret Falls was just challenging enough to make the cold pool at the waterfall enticing! We saw other tours coming through, but our group was smaller than most (10 people) and we went off the beaten trail to see... More

Kayaking, hiking through beautiful scenery, to end up at a spectacular waterfall. We were very impressed and satisfied! We found we were provided everything we needed for our comfort including waterproof bags/food bags, life jackets, water shoes and great company! Dante, our tour guide really enriched our trip with interesting facts and he was super friendly and very laid back.... More

Wailua Kayak Adventures has to be one of the best kayaking experiences on the Wailua River. We had so much fun with our guide Cole --he super knowledgeable, relaxed, and highly entertaining--and thoroughly enjoyed the 45 (45 minutes each way) minute Kayak trip plus the hike in to Secret Falls. Be sure to book the 7am tour and you will... More

We had a great time kayaking up the river, followed by an interesting hike to the waterfall. Swimming in the waterfall was fantastic. Be aware that the hike is a bit strenuous (lots of mud, some rocks and wading waist deep through a stream). Walking sticks were provided which were very helpful. Our guide took care of everybody very well.... More

And we don't mean in a good way! Wailua kayak adventures advertises that our guide will fill us in on Kauai's historical and religious significance, we heard none of this! One of the first things out of his mouth was " I only make money if you tip me". All snacks are organic???? Not on our tour! And forget the... More

First let me start this review by saying if you aren't a fan of mud or hiking, this tour isn't for you! The hike is fairly challenging if it's recently rained, which, on Kauai, is pretty common. The tour consisted of a 45 minute kayak trip down the Wailua river to the head of the trail, which then winds about... More

What a great time! The staff is friendly. It is a family run business, which I prefer to support when I'm not sipping on my latte from Starbucks and purusing the shelves at Walmart. No really, they are a multi-generational family-run business that are well worth supporting. The facts: You kayak about 2.5 miles up a river to a trailhead.... More
