This is not a big mainland festival, but a small-town Hawaii festival. There are several galleries that are interesting, an awesome bookstore and good food trucks with several places offering music. For families, there also was a juggling/unicycle show by the Art Co-op building. It...More

There were tons of art galleries - some stores had jewelry and knick knacks. But for the most part if you aren't in the market for art or jewelry then you won't find much to buy. There were plenty of food trucks to choose from....More

Fun Friday Night Art Walk! Meet the artists and bring home a treasure from Kauai. Food trucks & music too. Enjoyable Friday evening in Kauai.

Even though it rained, we had a great time walking through the local stores and fair booths. Found a photographer we loved and bought some prints. A local family was selling freshly fried malasadas...yum!

This was an excellent experience to go to Hanapepe on Friday night. The historic downtown is busy with people visiting art shops, food vendors, and live music. It is a fun time as long as the weather cooperates. Plenty of local food and shopping.

You have to go to Hanapepe on Friday nights 'cause the rest of the time the town is closed. We visited twice, not on a Friday night, and most of the stores were closed. It is a cute little town, but NOTHING happening.

In years past when we have attended, this event seemed to have a higher attendance and more vendors. It was fun, has food available, and some art, but not as much as I would have expected.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the art night is a bit of let-down compared to the effort that's gone into advertising the event. Hanapepe has a cute, if a bit run down, short main street area. In front of stores, there are booths like at...More

Maybe we arrived too early. We walked up and down the street a couple of times. I was expecting a more quaint little town than it was. There were quite a few food vendors and vendor tables with the usual tourist-type overpriced items for sale....More
