My wife and I had an amazing time with Walter. It was an excellent and safe flight accompanied with so much knowledge of the island's history. I got motion sickness 35 minutes in and he was very caring and wary of how I was doing. It was truly memorable and highly encourage this trip. Walter, thanks for being awesome! I am still to chicken to attempt sky diving!

My wife and I took a 1hr private Cessna tour with Walter and thoroughly enjoyed it. Walter is an experienced pilot who is happy to share stories of his time flying aircraft in different places throughout his career, and he guided us through the safety features of the six-seat Cessna 206 before comfortably and competently taking us on a circuit of Kauai, providing an interesting and amusing commentary along the way. The price was very fair compared to helicopter operators on the island, and the light-aircraft experience is a different way to see Kauai from the air compared to helicopters (you can Google people's views on both types, but we found this a better fit for us). Since Air Tour Kauai operate from the Port Allen airfield there's no other air traffic / tourist traffic to worry about; you can park about 50 feet from the aircraft! Bad weather caused our experience to be cancelled on the original date I'd booked, but Walter called me in advance of the reservation and automatically offered a replacement date/time the following morning, when the weather was much better. The whole experience, from booking through to payment and the flight itself was very smooth, and I'd recommend this tour operator. They also operate a Skydiving experience from the same location.

We had an excellent and safe flight with Walter! We cruised around the island and Walter made sure all of us could have decent views; plus he told us a number of interesting stories during the flight!

I was a little apprehensive before the flight after reading another review on a previous accident. Walter the pilot though was so re-assuring: he explained the plane though old, had new engine, and he flew 20 + years. The weather was nice and little windy but nothing unusual for Kauai. We took off right on time, and the views were amazing. Highlights included Na Pali Coast, Wailua Falls, and North shore Hanalei Bay. Make sure not to drive the curvy road to Waimea before the flight if you’re prone to motion sickness.

The 4 of us arrived and were greeted by our pilot, Walter. After going over some safety tips, we were seated in the plane. The back seat is a little cramped with 2 people in and may be better suited for just 1 person. It was hard to move around and take pictures. We covered the island in just over an hour and Walter was very informative and funny to listen to. We spotted a whale and he circled the plane so that everyone could see and even waved to the whale. After we returned, we settled the charges for the flight. After all, as Walter said, "why pay for a trip if you don't return? " I would recommend this flight, although there are no bubble windows.
