Really enjoyed the bridge and the pics we took on the other side. There is charming couple that lives on the other side and sell photos they have taken. She is willing to talk with lots of info about the area.

We found this by driving through the town on the way to Waimea Canyon. Glad we saw the sign and checked it out. Fun for sure! Great pic opportunity! Fun shops nearby and nice bakery in town!

This was a fun little activity when we were visiting Hanapepe. It just takes a few minutes but it is really fun. We got to the Friday night festival early so this helped us use up some time before all the festivities started.

We've never been on the swinging bridge before so we figured we would finally check it out. Not much to say about a swinging bridge, we walked on it, took a couple of pictures then left.

It may be a cheesy to some, but I really like the bridge. It's made out of wood and cables, and it swings and sways as you walk on it. It may not be that exciting to some, but I'm pretty sure the kids will...More

This is a must see if you are traveling though Hanapepe. The swinging bridge can be a little unnerving walking across it, but it allows you to see what it was like back in the day when they used this to actually transport necessary goods...More
