Very interesting site

The bridge is quite interesting and fun to walk across the canal. I wouldn't travel to Hanapepe just for this but if in the area it is interesting and worthwhile.

Couldn't stop giggling -- lots of fun! This bridge was initially built in 1911, then re-built after the hurricane hit Kauai. Follow the signs through town to find the bridge. It offers a bit of free entertainment good for families, and a fun photo op.

Cool little swinging bridge. Happened upon it by chance - glad we did! Even though the sign on the bridge says "Don't Swing," it does so on its own ;-)

Only two of our group of 6 was too afraid of heights to walk across the bridge. Really safe but does feel funny when the wind picks up and it swings.

This is a neat thing to see. Worth the quick stop. Probably only need 10-30 minutes. You can feel the swinging with the wind. Which is pretty neat. Enjoy

This is a great quick stop while passing through Hanapepe. The bridge is set back of the road behind a few shops. Stop for coffee and a pastry and check out the bridge before passing through town.

The bridge is not very well marked. We had parked and then asked someone where it was and they said that we were near it. We walked across it and there were not a lot of people on it so did not swing a lot. Fun!

Suspended cable and rope bridge over a river. Nothing too special about it. However it does swing, especially if you try to make it do so. There's a weight limit of 15 people. Kids will love it.

This was an accidental find and we needed a little stroll. The town was cute and we found this swinging bridge over a canal. It really was fun to walk across - kids would love it. It was well built and glad we found it.

Hello Trippies The suspension bridge is okay to visit if you are in the area. I would by no means travel from the north side to specifically visit it. It's a kitschy thing to drag you in to town to shop and visit the few stores. If my review helps you in your travels please give me a thumbs up.
