Experience the Majestic NaPali Coast with four different "4 hour" tour options daily. Our “Early Bird" tours depart at either 7:30am/7:45am while our "Photo Favorite" tour depart at 12:45pm/1:15pm. All tours return approximately 4 hours from departure. With a Hanalei starting point, the Na Pali Coast is only 15 minutes away, making the adventure of a lifetime "just around the corner." We LOVED this tour. Nick and Paul were amazing guides and the ride was great. This is one of our favorite areas of the island and this tour doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommend these guys! We had hike the trail two days before and it was great to see where we had just been and the pics turned out amazing.

We were reticent to book this relatively pricey tour, but am so glad we did it! From the moment we booked online to when they dropped us back at our car, everything ran smoothly and professionally, and most of all friendly!
Captain Nick is a local, and knows these waters like the back of his hand. Great sense of humor (if you like corny jokes, which we do), and empowered to adapt the tour to conditions: as we were heading out, he saw whales in the distance, and took us straight to them. We were treated to an amazing sight of two adult and one juvenile humpbacks--playing with dolphins.
Add to that the breathtaking scenery, a chance to snorkel in the reef, a clear notion of security, nice snacks, and a roomy, shaded catamaran (much more stable in choppy water), and we are thrilled we decided to do this.
If anyone asks us which one thing they should do on Kauai's north shore, this is it.

Outstanding trip along coast, in boat rightsized for caves and snorkeling. High experienced and most capable and fun crew focused on describing the journey, passenger enjoyment and safety. We've toured from PortAllen prior, while good tours, you really get up close with this team and spend significantly less time getting to the coast. Most highly recommended!!!

Awesome experience. Captain Lance and Casey were great! They were excellent guides and provided lots of history on the Napali Coast. The views were Incredible. Casey snd Lance consistently checked in with everyone to ensure we all were comfortable, safe and to check if we had questions.
Lance is a skilled driver and maneuvered inside a couple caves with expert piloting.
We had the opportunity to see dolphins swimming along side our craft, a few whales, one of which breached the water with a huge splash, a sea turtle bathing near our boat when we anchored at tunnels beach for snorkeling. The snorkeling great as we saw schools of various fish. It was an incredible tour and highly recommended this tour company.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Na Pali Catamaran. We had an amazing morning boat tour of the coast. Leaving from Hanalei Bay on the North Shore allows for more views of the beautiful Napali coastline and almost an hour of snorkeling. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, whales and turtles. Our guides Nick and Nick were fabulous!

Napali Catamaran gives the absolute best Napali coast views and experience! What is unique about this company is their local knowledge and crew! They know the Napali coastline like the back of their hand and couldn’t offer a better and more breathtaking tour more comfortably. The unique design of their boats allows a smooth ride, cave access, 360 views, comfortable seating, with a roof that provides shade should you opt for it! As a resident of Kauai, this is the number one activity I would recommend to experience up close, unforgettable views of the Napali and snorkel in Kauai’s pristine ocean along the coastline!

What a day. Even though it was cloudy at times (and we could generally only see the lower cliffs as a result) the views were amazing. This is a spectacular wonderland. The team was professional, informative and also fun throughout. The snorkelling was a great interlude. Lunch was excellent.. We had a pretty calm day which was a relief after reading about how it can be rough at times. The dolphins and turtles were the icing on the cake. At the end of our two week Hawaii trip all of us (family of four: parents, and daughters aged 21 and 19) all agreed that this was the highlight of the whole holiday. Yes it’s expensive but just do it.

Two words: DO THIS!! We've been to Kauai ten times and taken a Na Pali cruise four times. It is an amazing four hours. And this cruise with Na Pali Catamaran was by far our favorite. DO NOT leave out of the south shore, you cannot compare the experience of leaving from Hanalei.
Na Pali Catamaran was fantastic. The people were so genuinely friendly and helpful, from the check-in folks to the Captain and mate. The boat is great because you will be thankful for the shade on board. It was a fantastic time including the great snorkeling. Even the lunch they served was great. We've done helicopters multiple times, and they are great, too, but I really prefer the boat cruise. The views are amazing. Being able to go into the many sea caves is jaw-dropping.

Wondering if anyone has gone yet for the month of March? We are booked for the last week of March and really hoping the weather cooperates for us to go!

We stopped at tunnels. I believe they always stop there since they anchored to something fixed. Inside a reef so it was protected from big waves and sharks😉
I plan to take the tour on 2/2 Sunday but I just read tour won't be availble until April. Please confirm if it's correct.

Unfortunately since the flooding we had last year April we have had to discontinue the evening tour. We are currently just running the 4 Hour Morning and Afternoon tours.

I am sorry for the confusion, but you are required to drive to our office in Hanalei to check-in. We will then shuttle you from our office to the nearest beach access; there is still the required 10-15 minute walk down the beach towards the Pier where the boat will come and pick you up off of the beach.
