Dived with Linda & Amber at Ni'ihau and saw some of the coolest stuff. I've dived in Egypt, Belize, and Thailand, but Ni'ihau gives a good chance of seeing bigger animals besides fish. We swam with the critically endangered Hawaiian monk seal, eagle rays, whitetip reef sharks, blacktip reef sharks, and sandbar sharks (these types of sharks are responsible for... More

We had six awesome diving days with Bubbles Below. The dive sites are super and we saw sharks, turtles, monk seals besides a lot of colourful fishes. The night dive was fantastic as well as the journey to Nihau. All Instructors were very serious, we had a lot of fun with them, the service was perfect - specially the pizza... More

Our trips were okay. The good: things were run very safe and that was my top priority, which helps the rating. Divemaster Jordan was great. He was kind, gave very good briefings and we felt comfortable diving with him. He was good at pointing out even the little things. Everyone on the boat worked very hard. They need to do... More

My friends, husband, and I did the three tank dive on Niihau and had an absolute blast. Linda was so nice in explaining different things about whales, sharks, seals, and other kinds of wildlife. We saw two different species of dolphins on the trip and at least six whales. The team was so nice and we really enjoyed the experience.... More

Thank you so much for the great review! The winter trips to Niihau are actually my favorite! Though obviously the trip is weather dependent, its when we get very unusual encounters. More

I'll start by saying that my wife an I are very experienced divers. We've both been diving more than 30 years and are not "vacation only" divers. I make between 200-300 dives a year in my home waters, the cool and sometimes difficult diving around the northern Channel Islands. I'm a photographer, so diving with large groups isn't usually what... More

Aloha Doug! You are correct that we offer naturalists on our dives to interpret the marine environment. I believe that when divers understand the environment better they can then appreciate "the pearls" to be found diving anywhere. Kauai diving is great if one knows what to look for. Diving in Hawaii is typically a guided experience, actually most anywhere. As... More

We have been diving in Hawaii for over 10 years, my best dives by far are with Bubbles Below on Kauai. Linda is incredibly knowledged and patient with her divers. Amber was a great Captain, taking us to the best dive spots on any of the islands. We saw Pilot Whales, Sharks, Turtles, Octopus, and many Eels. I highly recommend... More

I did the two tank dive of Mana Crack with the Na Pali coast cruise with Bubbles Below. I did most of my Kauai diving with another company, which a friend had recommended, but Mana Crack sounded interesting, and that other company didn't offer it, so Bubbles it was. Our dive guide was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable, and Linda was... More

Aloha, Upon checking the paperwork for your charter, I see that the other divers filed out their paperwork and you two did not. Obviously our divemaster did not realize that your paperwork was missing and that he did not check your c-cards. That is all standard procedure. Thank you for letting us know, as it is in our best interest... More

While vacationing on Kauai we chose Bubbles Below Scuba Charters to complete our Open Water Certification. We had completed coursework and pool training back home in Boston over the winter and wanted to dive warm. Bubbles Below was very friendly and helpful setting this up in advance, even though our training was with SSI and they are a PADI dive... More

Capt Earl and Dive Master Chris took great care of us on our dive. The waves were an issue and after stopping twice and testing the current and conditions, they finally found a safe area to dive in. They helped us with our gear and ensured we were feeling safe. Once down at the bottom Chris ensured we saw lots... More

I did two three tank dives with Bubbles Below and had an amazing time! I rented equipment, and it was all newish and great quality. They also supply dive computers which was a nice backup. On a calm day they took us to the rarely visited windward side of Kauai. The dives were interesting and full of life, monk seal,... More
