This beach is located in a beautiful spot and there is a lifeguard station and an area for swimming. If you go, stay close to the lifeguard station. We sat further down the beach, (we were the only ones there) and noticed cars pulling up and meeting for a few minutes, then driving away. This went on the whole 3... More

Just down the road from the turnoff for Anahola Beach Park is Duane's Ono Burgers. We usually grab some Ono burgers and head down to the beach for a picnic. The beach is beautiful. Beach is almost always uncrowded so a nice getaway.

Went on a Sunday afternoon - lots of local families there. Nice calm water for swimming, but there was a lot of trash on the sand, dogs running loose (doing their business), and dirt bike riders in the parking lot.

Anahola Beach Park is located a short distance off the Kuhio highway through a residential area, with a posted 20 MPH speed limit. Obey the speed or even slower while watching for keiki playing. Anahola Beach Park is more of a local’s beach but felt very safe. The beach is life guarded and it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling.... More

calm waters, uncrowded except for a few locals we had the whole place to ourselves. They have showers and bathroom by the lifeguard stand as well as another outdoor shower near the end of beach. Lots of trees for shade.

We visited this beach long ago, but made the detour to check out again. Even if you do not sped time on the beach, the road to/from it is delightful

Anahola Beach Park is about 1/2 mile long of white sand being kissed by calm Pacific waters. The beach is protected by a reef so there is hardly any big surf breaks. It is accessible right off the highway or by Kauai Path, a paved walking and biking path. There are lots of amenities like restrooms, cold water showers, grills,... More

I like this beach. Under fifteen minutes from my house, which means I'm able to frequent it more than some other beaches. Large, few numbers during the week, and a nice river to paddle board up. I like it here a good bit.

Took a ride to this beach which had nice sandy shore and a good snorkeling beach. There were a lot of trees and we did not need to use umbrellas. The bay is awesome.

No facilities and not really anything to do there except swim or fish but it's a nice quiet beach if you want to get away from the crowds.
