We stayed at the Mauna Lani Resort and stopped by The Shops at Maunalani every day. We went to Juice101 every morning for the greatest acai bowls and Foodland farms for Poke and snacks. I would have given 5 stars but many shops were closed due to the covid outbreak.

We took in a comedy/magic show at Kozy's Tiki Palace; by day an art gallery; by night a Las Vegas caliber magic & comedy show in an intimate (up to ~30 people) environment. Kozy, who has TV credentials too numerous to list here, and his "able-bodied assistant" welcome you, and invite participation without pressure or embarrassment. It's well over an hour of continuous mentalist, sleight of hand, and laughs. If you think the Mauna Lani- Waikoloa area was just beaches, food, and art galleries...think again.

An interesting array of shops - my adult grandchildren found some very affordable bathing suits and t shirts. We than enjoyed a nice happy hour dinner at Tommy Bahamas.

First of all if you stay at the Fairmont Orchid, there is a shuttle available to take you from the hotel to here and you can call for a shuttle back from any store. This place is just so convenient and they carry a lot of essentials. They also sell lunch boxes we bought a bento with a musubi and fried chicken in it, and a 6.99$ spicy ahi poke bowl here (the poke tasted great by the way). This is a great way to save on lunch or breakfast or if you wake up late brunch! They also carry grocery items and fresh fruits that you can enjoy on your trip.
