My wife and I have done business with several dive shops in the Hawaiian Islands and we always look forward to returning to Blue Wilderness. We typically shore dive and after having our equipment "serviced" fraudulently in Dallas TX, Blue Wilderness fixed my wife's BCD one evening on short notice so we could dive. No other dive shop we know... More

I had a great time on a morning 2 tank charter! I was a little nervous about having to put my BCD on in the water (back rolling is also an option), but the friendly crew put me at ease. It was so worth it--the Puako sites are amazing! Gary is a knowledgable dive master, and thanks so his tips,... More

Booked a 2 tank dive with them and was not disappointed. We saw tons of fish, even the elusive cow fish, turtles, eels and a shark. Tony was our dm and he was a great, very knowledgeable and show us tons.

I've been diving with this organization for years, and now can say I've experienced them as dive educators/trainers as well. My 18-year-old granddaughter just got her PADI Open Water Certification with Blue Wilderness, and had an incredible, very successful experience. No one has better divemasters, certifiers, boat captains, dive sites, or rental equipment than Blue Wilderness. Above all, however, they... More

These people are top notch. They are informative and fun and really care to make sure everyone has a great time. We learned to dive with Kevin and he is our favorite, but we dove with everyone on the Blue Wilderness team one morning and everyone one of them has the love for scuba and are 100% committed to you,... My family and I had a great time on the manta dive with Kevin, Tony, and Dive! It was all last minute and we were scrambling to find a dive company that had room for us. Thankfully, Blue Wilderness put a dive together to accommodate all 5 of us. The crew did a great job explaining what the dive would... More

My family of five was in Waikoloa in June, and looking to book a last-minute manta night dive (with one snorkler in our group). Two of us spent hours calling around to try to find one with availability, and at first, Blue Wilderness told us their scheduled dives were booked (they only offer them on select nights). But a short... More

This is my second time doing the manta ray nigh snorkel and in many ways this was just as enjoyable as the first time. But there were also a couple of things that would have made this experience even better. First the good. Since we were staying at the Mauni Lani, the short drive to Puako and the short boat... More

Blue Wilderness gave my husband and I a wonderful experience diving for the first time. Our instructor Gary met with us 45 minutes before the dive started to practice in the shallow water before heading out in the boat with the rest of the divers. We were nervous but Gary was really calm and patient and as soon as we... More

Thanks to SheaG from the Tripadvisor forum for steering us towards Blue Wilderness. We were staying at Mauna Lani and to save driving back to Kona for one of the other Manta tours, we were able to drive 10 minutes to Puako for the trip to the Mauna Kea for the Manta Ray experience. There is the added benefit of... More
