This beach has it all and is very big so that you are not jammed in like sardines. Places to eat close and a nice coastal walk.

This is the beach that is out the gate of the condo we stay at. The beach doesn't get the larger waves you get at most of the other beaches in the area. I guess that would be a good thing if you have smaller...More

Perfect white sandy beach with calm blue water for kids, a short trolley ride and walk away from the Hilton Waikoloa. Lava Lava Beach club is right there to serve you delicious fish tacos and mai tais. In a word: HEAVEN!

We saw more turtles here than everywhere else on our vacation. Excellent safe sandy swimming beach with shade and changing rooms but no lifeguard. Many friendly conversations with other visitors. Saw several turtles every day. Not a snorkelling beach.

A Bay has amazing palm trees on the south side that are perfect for an afternoon nap. Bring a hammock to tie between trees so you can swing when the trade winds blow. You have great restrooms and fresh water showers after you swim. Not...More
