Exploring Hawaii’s Big Island can be a big undertaking, but it doesn’t have to be. Avoid the stress of planning out all the details with this guided tour that includes round-trip transport, lunch, snacks, and bottled water for your convenience. Because there’s minimal walking distance during this tour, it’s perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels. Plus, if the weather gets dreary, rain gear is provided to keep you dry.

Big sea Turles and black crabs here. There are two parking lots near this bay. You have to walk 2 minutes inside to the beach. My daughters were super excited to meet a Big Sea Turtle sun bathing here. The beach is nice and quiet. You can spend your day here. The public restrooms and the kayak and boat rentals were closed due to Covid. Great beach for a picnic. Great beach to run or walk at.

A-Bay is a great Big Island public beach with something for everyone. It's conveniently located near the Waikoloa Beach shops if you need a break. It has a beautiful shoreline for taking a long walk. The Lava Lava Club is readily accessible if the adults want a break. And, of course, the ocean is right there at your feet with moderate wave action for swimming and playing in the water.

Really enjoyed this beach. Its protected by a reef, so easy swimming and snorkeling on this day. Crowded but plenty of room . Lots of activities available, can rent water bikes, canoes, paddle boards, etc. Lava lava beach club also very nearby for an appetizer/drink!!

Anaehoomalu is a nice public beach to relax in Kona. The ocean current is not strong so it is good for water activities. It is less than an hour drive from Kona, a popular place for locals. A great place for kids and families.
