Don't Waste Your Time
Sep 2017 • Couples
You don't know if it's going to be open at any certain time. I tried to physically visit this store, but I never found it open despite trying several times. I also tried to order online and 12 days later, still no response. I called to inquire about my order and the lady was rude. She actually said she may or may not go to the store, but when she gets around to it, she'll call me back. I never heard from her again.

Isn't actually open.
There is a sign saying it's closed. Hard to visit someplace that's not open. It's a weird little place with a huge gate. Don't go unless you call first.

Delicious Bakery & Restaurant in Volcano, Hawaii
May 2014 • Couples
We were a little hungry from our drive and being half-way between lunch and dinner, we decided to explore the Aloha Candy Company in Volcano, Hawaii. We were very surprised at the delicious pastries and sandwiches that were available. They also have a gift store filled with koa wood items for purchase. We opted for a homemade bear claw with coffee and ended up talking with the friendly owners for much longer than we anticipated. It was a nice respite and sent us back on the road with a smile. When in Volcano, stop by and say "Hi" to the owners/operators.

A sweet little surprise!

We just wanted to stop by for coffee but ended up having the best pastry (macadamia nut) bear claw ever! It was light and flaky...just delicious. It was the end of the day and they were out of everything else, I can see why. The beautiful gardens and personalized service made you feel that you were at your aunties house having a treat. It's right off the main road, worth the little detour from the diet.

Aloha!

This cute little candy shop is tucked away off the main road in Volcano. On our visit, my husband and I met the owner of the store and she not only explained everything about her candies and cookies, she also was very accommodating in making a personalized box of our favorites. We highly recommend the candied macadamia nuts (outstanding) and the chocolates. She also gave us recommendations for activities and places to see in Volcano, which we loved and appreciated.

We discovered this new candy company in volcano village. The candy was delightful and the wood pieces for sale were lovely. Stop in for a lovely taste experience.
