Easy to get to the beach off the road without much effort. There are basic restroom facilities and a few folks hawking their wares. Did not see turtles, although that would have been awesome.

The beach is pitch black - it was the first time in my life to see that. Besides that, this place is not too special: there are some guys handing around and a some shops. Not more.

Great place to experience a black beach. Good picnic and toilet facilities, also a shower. Turtles abound here so you mist likely will see them in the water or on the beach!

The sand is amazing, off the beaten track but worth the stop to see. Very disappointed that mother nature didn't send any turtles along on our visit as we had been assured by locals we would see one even some. I'd allow more time next...More

We arrived at around 9am on a weekday and there was hardly anyone around. There were probably 7 turtles out on the shore. It would be great for kids, assuming they can be respectful of the turtles and be sensitive to their personal space as...More
