Located on 24 beautiful acres in Mountain View, midway between Hilo and Volcanoes National Park, stands our farm, roasting building and retail sales facility. Come take a full tour of the farm (aprox. 1.5 Hours) or a mini tour (aprox. 20 Minutes) in our roasting room. Either way, it's fun for the whole family and you'll learn a lot about coffee, farming and even a little history. Kids won't even know they're learning because it's so much fun. Before or after your tour, be sure and enjoy a fresh light meal, using locally grown fruits and vegetables. We have one of the best Portuguese Bean soups around. Our hours are: Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:30pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:00am - 2:00pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday CLOSED If cruise ships are in port we will also be open on those days, until 4:30pm!. If you're here on a Saturday, be sure and visit our small farmers' market with big aloha, where you'll find some real treasures, great produce, a wonderful breakfast and some great local music. It truly is Mountain View's Favorite Gathering Place. Every Saturday from 9:00am until 2:00pm. We'd love to meet you!

The staff was very friendly (Raelyn and Rachael) and the coffee was amazing. They walked us through the coffee making process. All pesticide free and healthy. Very knowledgeable and seemed passionate about the coffee. It was Rachael's first day but you wouldn't have been able to tell. She was a pro. Wonderful experience.

I work at a coffee roasting company in Indiana and I was super excited to visit some of the Hawaii coffee farms. Hilo Coffee Mill was great! I was served a wet cappuccino and delighted to see the use of medium- dark roast espresso. Not light. I visited the roaster and talked coffee for bit while sipping what I would... More

Just stopped on the way down from Volcano National Park for a cup of coffee, oh but what a cup of coffee. This was coffee at its very best. I stayed for another and really enjoyed the brief impromptu tour. This was actually the highlight of my trip to the Big Island and will be my first stop when I... More

We brought a group to visit the mill and learn more about coffee production in Hawaii--this place is truly FANTASTIC. Their goods are top-notch, and Lori gave a great presentation for us. Go there! :)

Our first stop into this coffee mill was so good that we drove out of our way to return two more times. We loved the coffee and took it back to our condo as well as home. I had them make me a blended latte with extra expresso and they were so delicious on a hot day! We had some... More

On the way to the volcano, this is a must stop! Free samples of different coffees, including pineapple coffee! Nice selection of teas also. You can grab a sandwich here. Cute gift shop, with a small tour of the coffee mill beside the restaurant. Employees very friendly & informative. Nice side stop!

Really glad we stopped when we drove past! A smaller operation with only 24 acres, the coffee mill and plantation offer a walk in roasting tour or a plantation tour with 24 hour notice. The staff were super great and led adults and kids (ours are 9 and 12) through the growing and production process and showed them the roasting... More

Situated on the highway on the way to Volcano, this is a nice place to have a quick bite and sip on the local coffee. It also has a small Farmers market in it's backyard that has fresh fruits, flowers and vegetables.
