Overview
More
Anelakai Adventures is a Big Island, Hawaii adventure company. Our Night Manta Ray Canoe Snorkel off the Kona Coast is a once in a lifetime experience. Skip the big crowds and go for a local Hawaiian experience — there’s no better way to meet mantas than by traditional canoe! Our double hull canoes let you snorkel with manta rays in a whole different way — in a small group, and at your own pace. You’ll feel more relaxed and safe, which will let you concentrate more on the beautiful wonder of nature that you can only see in Hawaii. Rays can live 50 + years and grow to 15 feet across and weigh more than 3000 pounds. Snorkel with the Manta, or stay on the canoe and watch from above with a close-up view you cannot see from a large motorized boat. Mantas love our quiet, Eco-friendly canoe! Let us share our passion and love for the ocean with you and learn a little Hawaiian history. Kayak Tours, Daytime Ocean Tours are also available. Book now and explore Kona the way our ancestors did!

These guys were so good. Friendly and professional. The paddle is very easy so no problem for most people.

We loved this tour. Max 6 pp per boat, much smaller and less invasive than some of the other giant flotillas of people other groups had. The mantas literally swim right up underneath you - incredible experience. Warm up paddling back to shore after the...More

Have nothing but great things to say about Anelakai Adventures. First off, they were easy to book with and extremely friendly over the phone. Then my wife and I arrived for our canoe ride out and that’s where the real magic began. Our guides were...More

Snorkling with the Manta Rays was most of our teen age kids favorite part of our trip to the big Island. The whole crew made the experience for our family so fun and enjoyable. Completely hassle free. I would recommend them to anyone. Rowing the...More

The trip was exactly as described. We had a short paddle out to the spot and then got a nice extent of time to observe the mantas. It was amazing just how close they came to us at times (just an inch or two away...More

Used Anelakai Adventures to go out and see the Manta Rays at night. Great experience because you paddle out in a double outrigger (super easy 5-8 minute paddle even for old and out of shape folks) instead of out on a stinky gas powered boat....More
